Position Summary:

The Manufacturing Customer Quality Manager is responsible for leading customer quality performance within the manufacturing environment. This role serves as the primary interface between manufacturing sites and customers on quality-related matters, ensuring customer requirements are understood, implemented, and consistently met. The position drives customer complaint reduction, manages customer audits and scorecards, and leads corrective and preventive actions to protect customer trust and brand integrity.


Reporting to the Director, Manufacturing Quality the Manufacturing Customer Quality Manager owns the day to day customer rejections, customer complaints, consumer complaints, and the corrective action follow through for each of these processes.



Primary Responsibilities:

  • Customer Quality Leadership
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality issues related to manufacturing.
  • Translate customer quality, food safety, and regulatory requirements into actionable manufacturing standards and practices.
  • Advocate for the customer within manufacturing while balancing operational and business needs.
  • Customer Complaints & Issue Resolution
  • Lead investigation and resolution of customer complaints, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and professional responses to customers in alignment with agreed service level expectations.
  • Analyze complaint trends and partner with operations and quality teams to drive systemic improvements leveraging AI and technology to identify trends quickly
  • Customer Audits & Scorecards
  • Lead preparation for and execution of customer audits at manufacturing facilities as it pertains to manufacturing quality (e.g. meeting customer specifications on quality parameters)
  • Coordinate responses to audit findings, including corrective action plans and effectiveness verification as it pertains to manufacturing quality
  • Own customer quality scorecards, performance metrics, and continuous improvement plans.
  • Serves as the primary subject matter expert for regulatory requirements including, but not limited to: food safety, food defense, labeling, ingredients, formulations, allergens, standards of identity, nutrition, claims, net weight, processing, environmental, regulatory bodies (USDA and FDA), OSHA, EPA, ESG, and social responsibility.
  • Manufacturing Quality Systems
  • Partner with plant quality and operations teams to ensure robust execution of quality and food safety programs.
  • Monitor adherence to customer specifications, process controls, and finished product quality customer requirements.
  • Support change management activities, including new product introductions, formula changes, and process modifications.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Product Development, and Food Safety teams to align on customer expectations.
  • Continuous Improvement & Risk Management
  • Use data and KPIs to identify risks and opportunities impacting customer quality.
  • Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives focused on defect reduction, right-first-time manufacturing, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure lessons learned are shared across sites and embedded into standard practices.



Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in Food Science, Quality, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in quality, food safety, or manufacturing operations within food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods.
  • Direct experience managing customer quality issues, audits, and complaint resolution.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment required.
  • HACCP or PCQI certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and quality systems, including HACCP, GMPs, and GFSI standards.
  • Experience with customer audits, scorecards, and performance management.
  • Proven root cause analysis and corrective action expertise.
  • Experience supporting major retail or QSR customers preferred

  • Proficiency with standard computer applications (Google Workspace, Microsoft Suite).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence across functions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity. Being a BPA makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) profession.

Typical assignments include:

  • Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws and inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
  • Preventing and apprehending aliens and smugglers of aliens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions to include using infrared scopes during night operations.

  • Performing physical searches of detained individuals, their vehicles, and their immediate surroundings for weapons, contraband, currency, and other evidence.
  • Apprehending, physically restraining, or working with law enforcement officials to identify or apprehend violators of state, federal, or immigration laws.
  • Proficient in the use of firearms, preparing investigative reports, serving court orders (e.g., warrants, subpoenas, etc.), and gathering evidence for criminal cases prosecuted through the court system.

If you have previous or current law enforcement or military law enforcement experience, you may qualify at the GS-11 grade level.

GS-11: You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, with the authority granted by the state or government to enforce laws, make arrests, and investigate crimes, performing primary duties in an official law enforcement capacity such as:

  • Utilizing intelligence information to track illegal operations, criminal activity, threats to our nation, and/or contraband while serving as a state, federal, or military law enforcement official.

There are no education substitutions for the GL-9 or GS-11 grade-level Border Patrol Agent opportunities.

Other Requirements:

Responsibilities

As an Aviation Electronics Technician (AT), you'll maintain, troubleshoot, repair and test complex electronic systems related to aviation on tactical jets, fixed wing aircraft or rotary winged helicopter systems. In this role, you can expect to work with systems including digital computers, fiber optics, infrared detection, radar, laser electronics, navigation, pressure indication, and electrical power generation and distribution. Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Installing modifications to aircraft electronic systems
  • Performing micro-miniature module repair on computer circuit cards
  • Performing electrical diagnostics
  • Reading electrical system diagrams
  • Repairing and maintaining power generators and electric motors
  • Performing scheduled maintenance and corrosion control


Work Environment

Sailors in this career field will perform duties at sea and ashore around the world. ATs can expect to work indoors and outdoors in land-based aircraft squadrons and aboard aircraft carriers. You may work in a shop environment, clean lab, airplane hangar or office environment.

Training & Advancement

Upon completion of initial training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes(known as Boot Camp), you'll report for specialized training, including:

Class "A" Technical School (19 weeks) in Pensacola, FL, for training in basic aviation theory and technical knowledge, aviation electrical systems, and electrical and electronics theory and skills.

After you complete training, you may be assigned to a naval air station, squadron, aircraft carrier or other aviation facility. Promotion opportunities are regularly available but competitive and based on performance.

Advanced Training

Advanced training as an Aviation Electronics Technician may also be available during later stages of your career. For those with further leadership aspirations and a college degree, Officerroles may be available, providing opportunities to lead and train others.

Post-Service Opportunities

Specialized training received and work experience gained in the course of service can lead to valuable credentialing and occupational opportunities in related fields in the civilian world, such as employment with airlines or aircraft manufacturers.

Education Opportunities

Beyond offering access to professional credentials and certifications, Navy technical and operational training as an Aviation Electronics Technician can translate to credit hours toward a bachelor's or associate degree through the American Council on Education.

A high-school diploma or equivalent is required to become an Enlisted Sailor and an Aviation Electronics Technician. You must also be a U.S. citizen eligible for security clearance.

Part-Time Opportunities

Serving part-time as a Navy Reserve Sailor, your duties will be carried out during your scheduled drilling and training periods. During monthly drilling, Aviation Electronics Technicians in the Navy Reserve typically work at a location close to their homes.

For annual training, you may serve anywhere in the world, including locations in the U.S., at bases overseas, or in areas where humanitarian needs are great.

Position Summary:


The Corporate Food Safety Specialist & Data Analyst supports enterprise food safety and quality programs through technical expertise, data analytics, and performance reporting. This role bridges food safety systems with data-driven insights, enabling proactive risk management, continuous improvement, and consistent execution across manufacturing sites. The position plays a key role in transforming legacy, manual processes into scalable digital solutions that enhance compliance, risk management, and operational performance.


Reporting to the Director, Corporate Quality & Food Safety, the Corporate Food Safety Specialist & Data Analyst owns the day to day data collection management, data analysis & reporting and supports process improvements within system development and automation.


Primary Responsibilities:


Food Safety & Quality Program Support

  • Support development, maintenance, and deployment of corporate food safety and quality standards, procedures, and tools.
  • Assist with implementation and verification of HACCP, Preventive Controls, GMPs, and GFSI-aligned programs across manufacturing sites.
  • Provide technical support for food safety investigations, nonconformances, deviations, and corrective actions.
  • Provide analytical and system support for food safety incidents, recalls, and root cause investigations.


Digital Transformation & Systems Enablement

  • Lead and support digital transformation initiatives for food safety and quality programs, including QMS, audit, sanitation, deviation, and corrective action systems. Support implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement of digital quality platforms and tools.
  • Partner with IT and business stakeholders to define system requirements, workflows, data models, and reporting needs.


Data Analytics & Performance Reporting

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret food safety and quality data from multiple sources (manufacturing sites, audits, dashboards, etc)
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and KPIs to monitor performance, trends, and emerging risks.
  • Perform trend analysis and root cause insights to support proactive risk mitigation and continuous improvement initiatives


Audit, Compliance & Metrics

  • Support internal, customer, regulatory, and third-party audits through data analysis, reporting, and documentation
  • Track audit findings, corrective actions, and closure effectiveness using data-driven approaches.
  • Monitor compliance metrics related to food safety, quality, sanitation, hygiene, and customer performance.


Systems & Tools Management

  • Support and optimize food safety and quality data systems (e.g., QMS platforms, Tableau, Datahex, audit tools, complaint systems, and customer systems).
  • Ensure data integrity, standardization, and consistency across sites.
  • Develop standard reporting templates and automated dashboards where possible.


Cross-Functional Support & Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with site quality, food safety, IT, operations, and sanitation teams to ensure accurate data capture and reporting.
  • Provide analytical support for new product introductions, process changes, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities through data analysis.
  • Translate complex data into clear, concise insights for leadership and operational teams.
  • Support enterprise initiatives focused on defect reduction, risk prevention, and food safety culture.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in in food safety, quality, manufacturing, data analytics, or digital systems within food manufacturing or CPG.
  • Experience working with QMS platforms, digital audit systems, or manufacturing/quality data sets
  • Exposure to multi-site or corporate environments a plus.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • HACCP or PCQI certification preferred.
  • Experience with Power BI, SQL, or advanced Excel preferred
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and quality systems, including HACCP, GMPs, and GFSI standards.
  • Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and audit platforms.


Additional Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with standard computer applications (Google Workspace, Microsoft Suite).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence across functions.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation skills.
