Overview
The Women’s Business Development Council (WBDC) is seeking a driven and passionate part-time HR Coordinator to The HR Coordinator provides administrative and coordination support to the Chief Financial & People Officer. This role supports internal HR operations while assisting with the coordination of outsourced HR and payroll activities, ensuring timely information flow, data accuracy, and compliance support. This position is administrative in nature and does not provide legal advice or independent HR decision-making.
This part time role would work up to 24 hours a week. At least one day/week will be worked from our offices in Stamford, Hartford or Waterbury, and the remaining days can be done remotely. Travel around the state and to our offices (Stamford, Hartford, Waterbury and New London) may be required. The salary range for the role is $22-$27 hour, commensurate with experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
Internal HR Support
• Support day-to-day HR administrative operations under direction of the Chief Financial & People Officer
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and system setup
• Maintain employee personnel files and HRIS records
• Assist with benefits administration support and employee inquiries
• Assist with HR communications and internal reporting
• Schedule HR meetings and maintain calendars and task tracking for the Chief Financial & People Officer
• Coordinate exchange of employee data, payroll changes, and benefits information
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding submissions
• Prepare payroll in conjunction with HRCG
• Support audits, reconciliations, and data validation as requested
• Escalate discrepancies or complex issues to the Chief Financial & People Officer
Compliance & Confidentiality
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of HR documentation
• Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and client information
• Support compliance tracking under direction of the Chief Financial & People Officer (e.g., policy acknowledgments, required forms)
• Follow internal controls related to onboarding, offboarding, payroll, benefits, and data security
Qualifications
• 2–4 years of HR administrative or coordinator experience preferred
• Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., iSolved, ADP, Paychex, UKG, etc.)
• Strong organizational, follow-up, and documentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint, etc.)

EDUCATION
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Completion of Certified Nurse Anesthetist Training Program Graduate of a Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetist Council on accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs. Current State of Connecticut Nursing License, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure in the State of Connecticut.
EXPERIENCE
Prefer clinical working experience as a CRNA within the given specialty/service line recommended, but none required. APRNs, PAs, CRNAs and CNMs are required to be appointed to the Affiliated Medical Staff of a YNHHS Hospital and credentialed through the Medical Staff process. Evidence of current competence to practice as {an APRN, PA, CRNA, CNM} via appropriate reference letters from physicians and other practitioners must be able to be obtained during the Medical Staff appointment process in order to be eligible.
LICENSURE
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist AANA Certification, State of CT RN and APRN License, ACLS DEA Registration and State of CT Controlled Substance Registration
SPECIAL SKILLS
CRNA's must have sharp concentration and focus, along with the ability to stay calm under stressful conditions. CRNAs must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with surgeons and the surgical support team, as well as with patients and their families. A calm and reassuring manner is one way to inspire trust in patients, who may be apprehensive about surgery, as well as the surgical team. Anesthetic patient management must be immediate and responsive. Flexibility and adaptability are required.
PHYSICAL DEMAND
A CRNA must be able to demonstrate intellectual-conceptual, integrative and quantitative abilities; skills in observation, communication and motor functions; and mature behavioral and social attributes. Sensory- CRNA must be able to detect and interpret changes in monitoring alarms and equipment. Functional vision, hearing. no impairment of sense of smell and tactile sensation must be adequate. CRNA must be able to observe a patient accurately at a distance and close.Communication-CRNA should be able to speak, hear and observe. CRNA must be able to communicate effectively- includes speech, reading and writing.Motor -CRNA should have sufficient motor function to elicit pertinent information. CRNAs should be able to stand for long periods of time and wear lead as needed for fluoroscopy, X-Ray cases. CRNAs must have the ability to lift 25 pounds and reach above and below shoulder height. CRNA must be able to negotiate patient care environments and be able to move self/patients between anesthesia locations. Coordination of both gross and fine muscular movements, equilibrium, and functional use of the senses of touch and vision is required. Intellectual-Conceptual, Integrative and Quantitative Abilities-Abilities include measurement, calculation, reasoning, analysis and synthesis. Problem-solving, the critical skill demanded requires all of these intellectual abilities. CRNA should be able to comprehend 3-dimensional relationships and understand the spatial relationships. Behavioral and Social Attributes -CRNA must possess the emotional health required for full utilization of intellectual abilities, the exercise of good judgment, the prompt completion of responsibilities. We are looking for a Chief of Staff & Head of Strategic Initiatives to serve as a force multiplier for the CEO and COO.
Approximately 80% of this role is focused on Vibrant Building Technologies. The remaining time supports cross-functional strategic initiatives across the CEO and COO's other operating businesses in real estate, design, and technology.
This person will work directly between the CEO and COO on a daily basis — translating vision into structured initiatives, driving execution on complex projects, and ensuring that the highest-priority work moves forward with speed and clarity.
This is not a coordination or scheduling role. It is a high-output operator position built for someone who is hungry, moves fast, and thrives when the path forward is not fully defined. Job Summary
Responsible for prospecting and running Auris Payroll presentations both in person and over the phone to small and mid-sized merchants and businesses to ultimately close deals within a fast sales cycle. As a Field Sales Representative you will report to a Payroll Division Manager and receive coaching from a Territory Manager. Activities include explaining our value proposition to clients via Atlas CRM, upselling current clients on other Heartland products and services, and maintaining regular communication with the Payroll Territory (PTM) and/or Payroll Division Manager (PDM).
Your role as a Field Sales Rep is to close sales of our business solutions with merchants throughout the area. You will work closely with your local PDM or PTM to set appointments with business owners in person or face to face via your network and referral partnerships that you build. You will then run scheduled appointments, uncover needs, and present Auris solutions to close sales in small to mid-sized businesses.
During the training period, your PDM or PTM will accompany you on your initial appointments to train you on our short-cycle sales process using our tablet based CRM platform, Atlas, used for lead generation, sales presentations, on the spot client financial analysis and paperless contract processing. Responsibilities
- Responsible for prospecting new clients
- Maintain existing/prospective client records, in accordance with company policies, to include call notes, scheduled client interactions, contact information, and other relevant client information, in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system; currently Atlas.
- Responsible for achieving minimum production requirements, including setting first time appointments, to secure a WIN
- Continuously build and develop knowledge of current product/service portfolio as well as changes and developments within the financial technology industry, to remain up-to-date.
- Attend weekly team meeting and weekly one-on-one with leader

The base salary range for this role is $273,500 to $290,700 per year based on a full-time schedule.
