Job Description
Own end to end accountability for the Splunk and Cribl platform, including day to day data ingestion.
Act as the primary interface with Progressive stakeholders, facilitating effective communication, governance, and alignment on platform priorities and outcomes.

The Blast Operator will work in the area of machine blast operations, which is accomplished by forcibly propelling a stream of abrasive material through a nozzle and onto the surface of a component. Blasting is often required to remove surface contaminants to prepare parts for repairs and paint. As a blast operator, you will work alongside experienced team members and gain the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in your career. You will become familiar with various types of blast equipment and blast media such as aluminum oxide, and plastic media. As your skills increase, so will your responsibilities, giving you hands-on experience, growth, and additional responsibilities.

- Follow established safety protocols and guidelines to ensure full compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform a variety of blast techniques on various types of turbine engine components using a cross mix of equipment (high pressure air, blast tank and other types of equipment)
- Perform various masking and taping (preparing the part for blasting) and performing actual part blasting operations using materials such as aluminum oxide, plastic grit and wet blast.
- Set-up and operate blast machines and associated equipment to work instructions and manufacturer specifications.
- Secure supplies, tooling, and blast product prior to commencing operation.
- Perform routine inspections of blast equipment.
- Clean, adjust and maintain equipment using hand tools.
- Utilize daily, overhead crane and lifting equipment.
- Follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Read and interpret work instructions in various formats.
- Communicate all work-related problems and issues with supervisors or other departments in a timely and efficient manner.
- Two years' work experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience with and/or a familiarity with pressure gages.
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic shop math, including working with decimals and fractions.
- Possess a solid mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand step-by-step processes from the reading of work instructions.
- High school or technical school graduate or equivalent.
- Ability to learn the proper use of hand-tools while demonstrating good eye-hand coordination.

This role partners closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve manufacturing processes, support production, and drive continuous improvement across the operation.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop, document, and optimize manufacturing processes for precision optical lens fabrication and assembly
• Develop and maintain metrology processes used to measure optical lens assemblies in production
• Partner with optical design engineers to ensure designs are manufacturable at scale
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to support quality and long term product reliability
• Lead manufacturing improvements including sourcing equipment and establishing new processes
• Provide day to day production floor support by troubleshooting build issues and improving yields
• Work with optical component suppliers to optimize product delivery and qualify new suppliers or components
• Create detailed manufacturing work instructions and process validation documentation

- $48 Per hour Summary: Accountable for developing work holding fixtures, CNC programs, and tool layouts to support the implementation of new equipment in a factory setting.
Focus on converting products from a manual operation to CNC automation utilizing Okuma horizontal mills machines.
Responsibilities: Lead the ramp-up of new CNC equipment by creating programs and work holding fixtures.
Identify and order new tooling for the creation or improvement of programs as required.
Design new jigs, tools, fixtures, and provide technical direction to production personnel.
Supervise the validation of new program roll-out and communicate the process effectively with engineers, quality, and production personnel.
Collaborate daily with manufacturing engineers concerning machining and operational challenges.
Highlight quality problems relative to the conversion of products to CNC-based machining and provide technical direction to implement corrective actions and error-proofing.
Train CNC machine operators on new machining technologies as needed.
Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience with proven ability writing programs for CNC machining centers and developing work holding fixtures.
4 years of experience in supporting a manufacturing environment.
Experience using SolidWorks, Mastercam, AutoCad, and G-code.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
