Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to support commercial construction and development projects. This individual will play a vital role in the preconstruction process, contributing to the development of accurate and comprehensive cost estimates from conceptual budgeting through final bid.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed and comprehensive cost estimates for commercial construction projects from conceptual design through final bid

  • Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and supplier proposals to ensure competitive and accurate pricing
  • Identify scope gaps, constructability considerations, risk exposures, and cost drivers during preconstruction
  • Collaborate closely with project management and field leadership to align budgets with execution strategy
  • Assist in the development of conceptual budgets, value engineering alternatives, and comparative cost analyses
  • Support bid strategy formulation and proposal preparation

  • Perform and manage all necessary cleaning and housekeeping duties including cleaning the laminator, scrubbing all rollers and pumps, changing filters, picking up debris around the machine, end of order clean-up, and in-process machine laminator cleaning.
  • Assist in machine set-up's/changeovers by utilizing the information on the job jacket and any necessary equipment. This includes preparing anilox rolls and sleeves for the laminator, changing anilox rolls, etc.
  • Complete necessary quality checks at machine and complete check off paperwork.
  • Attend and participate in all scheduled meetings (Continuous Quality Improvement, safety, special projects, departmental, etc.).
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.

SUMMARY: An Extrusion Utility Operator is responsible for safely and effectively contributing to team a of 4-5 individuals supporting the operation of extrusion lamination manufacturing equipment. Maintaining a strong work ethic while demonstrating good communication skills are important to exceeding customer expectations, productivity standards, and personal career growth. Extrusion Utility Operators are expected to be able to independently prioritize their time and duties to contribute to the team running efficiently.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Performs duties in a manner that adheres to safety policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the training curriculum, learning new aspects of extrusion line operations while completing assigned duties required for operation.
  • Maintain quality standards by reviewing product specifications and ensuring thorough completion of assigned production paperwork.
  • Operate as a member of a larger team responsible for aspect of overall process. Team members will rely on attention to detail and proper communication to ensure entirety of process is safe and efficient.
  • Exercise cautious approach to heavy equipment including use over overhead hoists.
  • Completes tasks to ensure area around the machine is clean to GMP & Food Safety standards
  • Visual acuity for identifying minor imperfections and material defects.
  • Basic understanding of general tool usage including tape measurers, utility knives and screw drivers.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written with working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Shift - 12 Hour Nights - 2-2-3 Schedule


SUMMARY: Directly supervises production employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

  • Leads safety efforts throughout all departments in manufacturing.
  • Actively participates in safety programs and makes safety observations, also is a contributing member of a safety team.
  • Reviews all observations and accepts responsibility for follow up.
  • Conduct Incident investigations & send out by email before the end of the shift when an incident happens.
  • Follow up investigation & TOR completed with the department manager within 24hrs.
  • Accountability for fire drills & tornado drills, where applicable.


  • Equipment Facilitator
  • Manages & is responsible for operations of assigned machines 24 hours a day.
  • Housekeeping, implementation & maintaining the 5s program.
  • Conduct meetings daily with assigned personnel.
  • Review Safety Concerns, Maintenance Concerns, Production #s, and Customer complaints.
  • Responsible for evaluating employees assigned on shift.
  • Look ahead on the schedule & have run conditions for jobs.
  • Coordinate with maintenance the work orders & PMs.


  • General Responsibilities
  • Facilitate on the job training and instruction for team members on the correct use of tools and equipment to ensure proper safety and operating procedures are followed.
  • Management representative responsible for all plant operations on off shifts and weekend operations.
  • Approves color matching for presses on scheduled shift, where applicable.
  • Strong communication with Department Managers on all process and personnel issues.
  • Makes decisions concerning troubleshooting and employee issues.
  • Knows, understands, implements, & enforces plant procedures and policies.
  • Processes shift reports from production and waste on scheduled shift.
  • Analyzes production and improves process where opportunity exists.
  • Sign off on Finishing run sheets ensuring correct specs are maintained and schedule is accurate on night shifts.
  • Leads teams formed to deal with production, manufacturing and safety issues.
  • Daily 5s shift audits.
  • Daily production status report
  • Ensure Raw Material Rejections have required MFG data to process. Coordinate priorities and efforts of maintenance and the engineers
  • Inspecting & sign off on all retains & ensure that good quality product is being produced.
  • Cylinder check sheets.
  • Adjust crews accordingly to minimize OT but still meet goals.
  • OK sheets filled out & check off.
  • Other duties as assigned.
