As a DC Planning & Reporting Senior Analyst you will be responsible for facilitating effective decision-making and business operational performance by analyzing metrics and designing reports that impact the planning and distribution center operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams for data gathering and analysis, help develop end-user performance reporting to drive improvement opportunities across the supply chain and DC Operations.
The role will be very hands on and entrepreneurial and requires past experience in analytics and warehousing. What You'll Do:
- Guide business process sessions, foster problem-solving, and conduct analyses with stakeholders. Articulate the outcomes effectively to senior leadership.
- Responsible for leading and driving cross-functional alignment within flow, KPI visualizations, labor planning and actualization to plans, ensuring financial goals are met.
- Establish operational and cross-functional partnerships to strengthen business and strategic project initiatives. Analyze system, operational data, and flow to proactively identify solutions and improvement opportunities and provide recommendations.
- Analyze and assist in the business planning process from a financial perspective for operations: budgeting, target setting, review KPI’s, forecasting, and analysis.
- Collaborate with the Information Technology team to address system issues and document business technical requirements for identified process improvements.
- Manage the extraction and analytics of large data sets to proactively identify improvement opportunities and/or unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles.
- Develop comprehensive labor plans and scenarios in collaboration with finance, facilities, human resources, and operation teams.
- Field operation requests: develop technical requirements, and/or write SQL to produce desired report/metric/dashboard in MicroStrategy, Power BI or Tableau.
- Anticipate and address operational and strategic requirements proactively, while innovatively improving and creating new metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools to empower effective decision-making.
- Establish strong working relationships across all levels to ensure comprehensive project satisfaction and to effectively manage expectations related to functionality and deliverables.
You'll Need to Have:
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Info systems or related disciplines.
- 3-5 years of experience developing business and/or technology solutions and managing multiple technical consulting projects.
- Ability to read/write SQL
- Experience with Reporting Systems such as Power BI, Tableau, and Microstrategy
- Microsoft Excel expertise
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex information and communicate compellingly to executive leadership and cross-functional teams.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:
* Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
* Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.

- Follow set, scheduled route for daily deliveries.
- Read maps or set GPS to determine and track daily route.
- Ensure products are delivered in a timely manner.
- Load and organize product inventory from warehouse into your vehicle and unload products in and out of truck as needed throughout the day.
- Make sure inventory matches manifest (accompanying shipping document).
- Scan or write in confirmation of delivery upon arrival to recipient client.
- Collect signature and/or payments at delivery locales.
- Deliver goods to specific locations determined by clients.
- Check in with warehouse on delivery progress as needed.
- Maintain and organize all delivery paperwork and deliver it to the proper personnel at the end of each shift.
- Report any accidents or vehicle issues encountered while enroute, to supervisors.
- Always follow rules and regulations of the road.
- Follow all company and state enforced safety requirements for loading and unloading product.
About you:
- Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent certification.
- Have a valid commercial driver's license.
- Must have a clean driving record with no moving violations.
- Must Pass a DOT physical
- Proficient at driving and parking large vehicles.
- Physically fit and strong, able to lift 25 pounds comfortably.
- Experience using hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklifts a plus.
- Professional and pleasant disposition, able to give all clients a positive customer service experience.
- Candidate should be dependable, hardworking and an effective communicator.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills required.

Prior experience in welding technologies, robotics, automation, laser systems, or industrial equipment manufacturing.
- Experience entering and implementing ECOs, and DCRs within an ERP system (Oracle / JDE Enterprise preferred).
- Familiarity with PCB CAD tools such as Altium Designer and/or mechanical CAD tools such as SolidWorks
- Experience with cost-reduction initiatives and obsolescence management.
- Experience using issue tracking software to monitor status of multiple ongoing tasks.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, engineering databases, and product data governance.
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience.
- Familiarity with RoHS, REACH, CSA, and other regulatory or compliance frameworks.

- Function as primary trainer for assemblers on complex assemblies or updated processes.
- Serve as manufacturing liaison during New Product Development, providing feedback and assisting in design-for-manufacturability efforts.
- Participate in cost-reduction initiatives for resistance welding, laser, and benchmark standard product lines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hands-on production issues in real time.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Three to five years of experience in sustaining engineering, manufacturing engineering, or product lifecycle management.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain coordination, and product lifecycle support.
- Strong troubleshooting and analysis skills
- Experience with ECO-controlled engineering documentation packages including drawings, BOMs, routers, procedures, and quality control documentation.
