THE OPPORTUNITY
Position Overview
This is a full-time, on-site (not virtual) position at our offices in Wallingford, Connecticut. The ideal candidate will be a shared administrative resource for the Senior Vice President and six other Vice Presidents supporting all administrative tasks as well as assisting the executive assistants of the CEO and CFO as needed. The ability to anticipate, organize and summarize a high level of sensitive information is critical. Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Work closely and collaboratively with other Executive Assistants in a deadline driven environment.
- Maintain executive’s calendar and plan, arrange, and schedule travel for company events, conferences, group or large company meetings and appointments as assigned.
- Compile and submit executive expense reports.
- Help manage logistics of department meetings and provide on-site meeting support throughout the year.

Join Midstate Radiology Associates (MRA) as a Full Time, 1st Shift, Interventional Radiology Technologist at MidState Medical Center in Meriden.
Position Schedule: Mon, Tue, Thur & Fri, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM + on-call rotation every 4th week/weekend (schedule is subject to change based on operational needs).

20. Operates IR equipment to produce accurate images while maintaining sterile technique. Assembles sterile trays and assumes scrub duties as necessary. Accurately documents procedure performed. Verify correct orders and relevant history in the patient’s chart.
21. Performs diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures by selecting the correct exposure factors utilizing the assessment of patient age, pathology and diagnosis to produce technically accurate digital images to assist the radiologist in diagnosing. Work with students.
22. Accurately inputs procedural information into electronic medical record, RIS and PACS to capture necessary information regarding exams, supply charges, resource allocations, radiation exposure as well as all relevant clinical information.
23. Obtains all relevant patient information, including but not limited to, current lab values, medication usage, ensuring reason for exam is concordant with exam request in order to perform the appropriate exam, on the correct patient, to procure an accurate diagnosis.
24. Explain procedures to patients and addresses their concerns. Utilizes ALARA principals and appropriate infection control techniques to ensure a safe work environment.
25. Appropriately maintains exam rooms, supplies and equipment according to performance standards. Maintains area supplies and reports equipment malfunctions. Performs and documents quality assurance testing on equipment according to established protocols to maintain high performance of the system. Transports patients as necessary.

• Graduate AMA approved radiology program.

Key Responsibilities Perform emergency medical treatment for Sailors, Marines, and specialized units such as SEALs and Seabees; provide basic and emergency dental care and process dental X rays; serve as operating room technician and assist in surgery; administer preventive care and medications including immunizations and IVs; conduct physical exams and assist in diagnosing and treating diseases and injuries; maintain patient records, perform clinical tests, and support physicians and nurses in a wide range of specialties.

Pathways, Training & Advancement Recruit Training followed by Hospital Corpsman A School at Fort Sam Houston, Texas; numerous advanced C schools that lead to Navy Enlisted Classifications in areas such as Independent Duty Corpsman, Fleet Marine Force, preventive medicine, surgical technology, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, laboratory, dental, and dive medicine; progressive professional development through leadership courses and warfare qualifications such as Fleet Marine Force and Surface, Aviation, or Expeditionary pins where applicable.
Direct enlistment into the Hospital Corpsman rating from civilian life; in service conversion for qualified Sailors from other ratings who meet screening and performance criteria; Reserve accession for prior service Hospital Corpsmen and select civilian medical professionals when manning needs allow.
