About the Role


This is a Founding Account Executive role (full-cycle sales).


You will work directly with the founder every day to help build the sales engine for Harmony from the ground up.


This is not a traditional SaaS AE role.


Our sales process involves deep research, cold outreach, factory visits, relationship building with owners and operators, and closing complex deals that transform how factories run.


You will be responsible for the entire sales process, including:


• Building your own pipeline

• Prospecting and outreach

• Running demos

• Nurturing relationships

• Visiting factories in person

• Closing deals


We move fast and we do things that do not scale. We cold call. We show up at factories. We send custom gifts. We meet operators on the floor.


You will help define how Harmony sells to manufacturers and help build the company’s go-to-market playbook.

What You’ll Do


Own the Full Sales Cycle


• Generate pipeline through cold outreach, referrals, events, and creative outbound

• Research and identify manufacturing companies that are strong fits for Harmony

• Use tools to source leads

• Run discovery calls and product demos

• Build relationships with operators, plant managers, and owners

• Travel to factories to understand operations and close deals in person

• Manage deals from first conversation through signed contract



Build Pipeline from Scratch


This is a true founding sales role.


You will help build the pipeline engine for Harmony by:


• Cold calling manufacturing companies

• Sending thoughtful outbound emails and LinkedIn messages

• Creating personalized outreach campaigns

• Attending manufacturing events and trade shows

• Visiting factories and meeting owners directly


We believe the best deals are built through real relationships, not just Zoom calls.



Work Directly With the Founders


You will work with the founder daily to:


• Refine messaging

• Improve the demo

• Identify ideal customers

• Close strategic deals

• Develop the sales playbook


This role will have a huge impact on how the company grows.



Help Build Partner Channels


Manufacturing software is often sold through partners.


You will help establish relationships with:


• ERP providers

• Manufacturing consultants

• Systems integrators

• Industry advisors


These partnerships will become an important source of pipeline and distribution for Harmony.



Preferred Qualifications


These are not strict requirements, but candidates with this background will ramp faster.


• Experience selling to manufacturers or industrial companies

• Full-cycle closing experience from prospecting through close

• Experience selling high-ticket B2B software or hardware

• Familiarity with manufacturing operations, supply chains, or factory environments

• Experience selling ERP, MES, production software, automation, or industrial technology

• Comfortable conducting on-site customer visits and factory walkthroughs

• Strong outbound experience including cold calling, cold email, and creative prospecting

• Experience using tools such as:

ABOUT THE POSITION

Responsible for directing and supporting warranty administration, warranty analysis, problem resolution, and product improvement programs for all Astec Industries – Infrastructure Solutions Group products.



Deliverables & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the organization, management, & daily operations of the warranty functions.
  • Monitor and review in-process claims to ensure claims are being addressed and resolved.
  • Administer and enforce all warranty polices.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve the customer experience.
  • Develop and track performance metrics.
  • Establish and continually improve warranty claim processing and adjudication processes
  • Leverage warranty analysis to identify, implement, and manage tools, applications, and processes to clearly identify trends and patterns in data. Ensure information is properly visualized and communicated to divisional stakeholders for resolution.
  • Lead activities associated with Problem Recognition processes, including administering the Non-Conforming and Corrective Action (NCCA) system, Corrective Action Request (CAR) creation, administration, and reporting.
  • Establish, administer, and clearly communicate standard and extended warranty policy. Monitor competitor’s offerings and with Senior Leadership Team guidance adjust as required.
  • Develop and champion processes to leverage analysis of various data streams with the outcome of establishing specific Product Improvement Programs intended to improve the customer experience.
  • Lead, develop, and administer Returned Goods Analysis (RGA) processes.



To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or applicable field
  • Five (5) years supervisory or managerial experience
  • Knowledge of customer and product support fundamentals and processes
  • Proven track record of successfully managing warranty operations and processes across an organization.
  • Demonstrated business results through the collection, dissemination, and analysis of large amounts of data.
  • Ability to learn and teach complex mathematical and statistical concepts.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage conflict and resolve issues in the most positive fashion for all parties concerned.
  • Ability to identify problems or potential problems at both a strategic and functional level and make or recommend decisions to resolve the same.

Supervisor and Leadership Expectations

Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of Department. Directly or indirectly manages one (1) to fifteen (15) supervisory and non-supervisory employees to include but not limited to Project Managers, Warranty Analysts, Claim Processors, Returned Goods Clerks, and Reliability Analysts. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems in compliance with any applicable employment law guidelines and upon consultation with the Sr Director of Quality and/or Director of Human Resources if necessary.

Job Description

Join our dedicated team at the Chattanooga, TN Fibers Plant, and play a vital role in our production process. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Production Operator to help ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review process specifications to ensure processing accuracy.

  • Operate cutting equipment as directed and complete shift machine paperwork.

  • Fill out the production board and document countermeasures accurately.

  • Perform quality checks as required to maintain high standards.

  • Enter production data into SAP and generate tickets.

  • Affix tickets to finished pallets.

  • Program printers and change ribbon as needed.

  • Replace paper rolls when necessary.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.

  • Working knowledge of SAP preferred.

  • Proficient using a computer and common software applications.

  • Previous forklift experience and/or certification is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Ability to calculate simple math problems and read/use a tape measure.

  • Team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
