This dynamic 15 bay unit provides Pre- and Post-Procedural care. You will be part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team dedicated to patient & family-centered care with responsibility for treating a diverse patient population. We are a Level I Tertiary care hospital, providing care with state-of-the-art technology. You will be part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team dedicated to patient & family-centered care. Responsibilities
Those in the Hospital Corpsman Advanced Technical Field go beyond the duties of basic Hospital Corpsman, working in austere and challenging environments while saving lives. Each of the three classifications has its own responsibilities:
Special Operations Independent Duty Corpsman (SOIDC)
- Provide advanced medical care and operational services for Marine Reconnaissance, USMC Special Operations Forces and Navy Special Operations Command personnel, like SWCC and SEALs
- Engage as a team member in direct action, special reconnaissance, foreign internal defense and unconventional warfare
Search and Rescue Medical Technician (SMT)
- Rescue patients and deliver emergency care from the back of a helicopter
- Perform aircrew duties and En Route Care (ERC) for routine illness and emergent patients
- Provide relief and assistance in areas ravaged by catastrophic natural disasters
- Support Search and Rescue (SAR), tactical evacuation (TECEVAC), Medical Evacuation (MEDEVAC), casualty evacuation (CASEVAC) and Combat Search & Rescue (CSAR) for Navy and Marine Corps Aviation
Deep Sea Diving Medical Technician (DMT)
- Provide basic medicine and assist medics in prevention and treatment of diving related illnesses, injuries associated with deep sea diving and hyperbaric conditions
- Operate, test and repair all Navy diving equipment
- Perform underwater inspections, harbor/port/ship security inspections, conduct ordnance searches, rescue personnel, engage in special warfare and small boat operations
- Operate Swimmer Delivery Vehicle Dry-Deck Shelter system and submarine Lock-in/Lock-out systems
Work Environment
As a Hospital Corpsman, you have the most diverse range of work environments in the Navy. Your job will likely take you all over the world-and far out of your comfort zone. If you choose to go the Hospital Corpsman Advanced Technical Field route, you will work in extreme and sometimes precarious conditions. From deep-sea diving to combat missions to flying in MH-60 Romeo helicopters, you will train outside the realm of conventional military forces to prepare for any mission. You may work independent of a physician or under supervision in this program.
Training & Advancement
Upon completion of initial training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes (known as Boot Camp), you'll report for specialized training including:
Hospital Corps "A" School (19 weeks) in San Antonio, Texas for training on basic principles and techniques of patient care and first aid procedures.
After "A" School, HM-ATF candidates track to one of three advanced training paths:
- Special Operations Independent Duty Corpsman Pipeline (121 weeks)
Areas of training include but are not limited to basic reconnaissance, airborne operations, combatant diving, demolitions, clinical diagnostics, advanced trauma skills, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), basic surgical anesthesia, basic veterinary medicine and basic dental exams. - Search and Rescue Medical Tech Pipeline (27 weeks)
Areas of training include but are not limited to advanced fluid resuscitation, administration and management of Advanced Life Support medications, use of emergency medical equipment, rescue and recovery devices and patient handling. - Medical Deep Sea Diving Tech Pipeline (28 weeks)
Areas of training include but are not limited to diving physics, scuba and surface-supplied air diving, recognition and treatment of diving related illnesses.
After completing your pipeline, you'll receive your first assignment. You'll go wherever you're needed, which can be anywhere in the world. Automatic promotion opportunities are available but are competitive and based on completion of pipeline.
Post-Service Opportunities
There's no better way to begin a successful career in health care than by serving in the medical support division of America's Navy. Specialized training received and work experience gained in the course of service can lead to valuable credentialing and occupational opportunities in related fields in the civilian world, such as Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Home Health Aide, Anesthesiologist Assistant and more.
Education Opportunities
Beyond offering access to professional credentials and certifications, Navy technical and operational training in the medical field can translate to credit hours toward a bachelor's or associate degree through the American Council on Education.
You may also continue your education through undergraduate degree opportunities like the Navy College Program and Tuition Assistance and the Post-9/11 GI Bill.
Qualifications & Requirements
A high-school diploma or equivalent is required to become an Enlisted Sailor. Those seeking a position as a Hospital Corpsman must be U.S. citizens.
While no college degree is required to apply for a position as a Hospital Corpsman Advanced Technical Field, a high degree of difficulty should be expected. Entry Requirements include:
- Vision correctable to 20/20
- Normal color perception
- Pass a physical examination
- 28 years of age or younger
- U.S. citizen eligible for security clearance
In addition to strong communication, writing and arithmetic skills, you should also have a genuine interest in providing health care, along with good use of your hands and strong physical stamina.

Job Responsibilities
* Performs pharmacist tasks, including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management. Reviews, interprets and dispenses prescribed medications.
* Enhances patient experience by focusing on healthcare services (e.g., patient consultation, medication management, drug therapy reviews) and retail, clinical, or wellness services such as immunizations, disease state management and specialty programs. Listens to patients concerns and issues, acts as a sounding board for pharmacy concerns and provides feedback to operations leaders. Resolves customer queries and issues in a timely manner to ensure a positive customer experience.
* Conducts centralized support, including patient registration, exception resolution, and assists with resolving patient issues. Performs in-person or virtual product/prescription reviews, within guidelines.
* Provides expertise, resources, education and support to broader team. Supports staff training and development opportunities. Promotes teamwork and motivates staff by fostering a shared vision;
* Supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
* Partners with leadership team in analyzing performance (KPIs), financial and customer service data; Implements procedures for pharmacy asset protection and inventory management.
* Ensures the pharmacy adheres to regulations, company policies and standards. Collaborates with leaders to establish workflow procedures (e.g., assigning roles, coordinating activities and soliciting employee suggestions). Oversees pharmacy opening, closing and shift change.
* Maintains and develops relationships with medical providers and other health professionals.
* Ensures pharmacy staff follows up with medical providers' to clarify prescriptions, dosages, refills, interactions and allergies, to suggest alternative medications and answer questions.
* Maintains current knowledge of pharmacy systems technology (e.g., workflows, prescription fulfillment, billing, clinical documentation, training, inventory management, and POS registers).
* Processes insurance claims. Liaises with insurance companies, medical providers and auditors.
* Develops and maintains relationships with the local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers. Participates in community outreach activities to promote the pharmacy business and enhance growth opportunities. Participates in community events that reflect the unique communities we serve as requested by leadership team.
* Drives compliance and continuous improvement in the delivery of clinical pharmacy patient care and services by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; monitoring and analyzing results; and implementing changes. Adheres to regulatory compliance and standard operating procedures.
* Maintains awareness of third-party pharmacy business opportunities and assures proper administration and implementation of pharmacy systems and procedures.
* Seeks professional development and solicits feedback. Maintains current knowledge and required licensing/credentialing/certification as established by federal and state regulations. Stays current with pharmacy trends and best practices.

Basic Qualifications
* BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
* Current Pharmacist license as granted by the appropriate state licensing authority.
* Experience performing prescription dispensing activities, demonstrating a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
* Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
* Willing and able to work effectively in different and/or multiple work environments (such as
* Centralized Services, Retail Pharmacy, Specialty Pharmacy, and/or virtual).
Preferred Qualifications
* At least 1 year of pharmacy experience, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance.
* Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
* Experience with pharmacy technology including Intercom, Promise, and Plus.
* Has completed specialized training regarding medication and disease state or has sufficient practical experience necessary to provide specialized services offered at clinic location (HIV, Organ Transplant, Oncology, etc.).

Description: Costpoint Architect will assist in integration activities related to the migration of various ERP's to Costpoint, continuously improve our use of Costpoint ERP, our integrations with other on-prem and cloud-based Enterprise Business Platforms, and our enterprise finance reporting infrastructure.
The candidate should have expertise in all modules of Costpoint, experience with 3rd party integrations, implementations, and migrations from systems to Costpoint.
The candidate should be well-balanced in accounting and IT or accounting information systems.
The accounting background is preferred in candidates' ability to tie out reports and validate the information[SD1.1][CR1.2].
Costpoint technical experience is essential to the candidate's ability to provide functional and technical input to design, development, deployment, and production operational support of Costpoint extensions and integrations.[SD2.1][CR2.2] They should be familiar with back-end tables, the Costpoint development toolset, and the front-end application.
