Position Overview
Essentia Health is excited to invite a board-certified or board-eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to become a valued member of our outstanding Heart & Vascular team in the beautiful city of Duluth, Minnesota. Practice Specifics
- Become part of a well-established, multidisciplinary Heart & Vascular team that includes interventional and non-invasive cardiologists, electrophysiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, vascular surgeons, advanced practitioners, and a dedicated nursing and technical staff.
- Work in state-of-the-art facilities equipped with cutting-edge imaging technologies and a fully equipped cardiovascular lab.
- Engage with a diverse patient population, treating a wide range of cardiac conditions.

- Experience a balanced schedule that promotes excellent work-life integration while working in both ambulatory and hospital outpatient settings, with acute care cardiology rotations supporting the cardiology consult service.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with a strong emphasis on prevention, diagnosis, and management of cardiovascular conditions.
- Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac tests, including echocardiography, stress testing, nuclear cardiology, CCT, and CMR.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create personalized treatment plans for patients.
- Participate in teaching and mentorship opportunities with residents and medical students, shaping the next generation of physicians.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and have the option to contribute to clinical research if desired.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
·Board-certified or board-eligible in cardiovascular disease.
·Expertise in non-invasive imaging modalities.
·cardiac CT would be desired and CMRI reading would be plus
·Eligible for medical licensure in Minnesota.

Compensation

Job Overview:

- Create strategic project action plans and cost estimates of materials, time, and other resources required to complete the project
- Facilitate and contribute to the development of project plans and designs

Position Summary
Essentia Health Heart & Vascular Center – East Market is seeking 2 Board Certified or Board Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologists to join our Heart & Vascular Division as Cardiology Nocturnists. This role provides dedicated overnight cardiology coverage to support inpatient services, CV diagnostic study interpretation, improve care continuity, and enhance physician sustainability across the East Market.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overnight inpatient cardiology coverage on the Duluth campus
- Manage acute and complex cardiovascular conditions, including:
- Acute coronary syndromes
- Decompensated heart failure
- Arrhythmias disorders
- Post-procedural and post-interventional cardiovascular care
- Respond to overnight cardiology consults from the Emergency Department, ICU, inpatient units and outside facilities
- Provide ECG interpretation and cardiovascular clinical decision support
- Interpret adult transthoracic echocardiograms (TTEs), including urgent and routine studies
- Collaborate with interventional, electrophysiology, and heart failure teams as needed
- Ensure effective handoffs to daytime cardiology teams to support continuity of care
- Participate in quality, safety, and care standardization initiatives aligned with Heart & Vascular Division goals
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in cardiovascular disease
- Demonstrated competency in adult transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) interpretation
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Minnesota
- Strong inpatient cardiology experience and comfort managing acute cardiovascular conditions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a collaborative, dyad leadership model

Compensation
- $674,600. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.

- Regional tertiary Heart & Vascular Center serving northern Minnesota, northwestern Wisconsin, and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula
- Integrated cardiovascular programs including general and interventional cardiology, structural heart, electrophysiology, heart failure and cardiometabolic

Job Title : Bomb Technician (EOD) Category / Component : Enlisted • Active Overview Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technicians locate, identify, render safe, and dispose of explosive threats on land, at sea, and underwater, using advanced robotics, diving, and explosives skills to protect forces and civilians and support fleet and joint operations worldwide.
Key Responsibilities Detonate and demolish hazardous munitions, pyrotechnics, and outdated explosives; neutralize ordnance including sea mines, torpedoes, depth charges, and improvised explosive devices; remotely disable unsafe ordnance using robotic and diagnostic technology; conduct parachute and helicopter insertion operations; clear waterways of mines in support of ships and submarines; provide explosive ordnance support to law enforcement agencies and organizations such as the United States Secret Service and Department of State.
What to Expect Global missions in every environment, from parachuting into remote terrain to arriving by small boat on foreign shores; majority of time spent in the field conducting high risk, time critical tasks with strict safety and risk management; regular integration with Special Operations, fleet units, and interagency partners; intense physical and mental demands with a culture that values precision, calm decision making, and discipline.

Pathways, Training & Advancement Recruit Training followed by an EOD preparatory course at Great Lakes, Illinois, that builds swimming, conditioning, small boat skills, and risk management fundamentals; EOD Assessment and Selection Course that evaluates aquatic adaptability, running, swimming, academics, professionalism, and teamwork; Navy diver training at the Naval Diving and Salvage Training Center; Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal, which covers demolition, conventional ordnance, underwater mines, missiles, landmines, and chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats; Basic Parachute Training and ongoing advanced training and qualifications throughout a career.
Apply for the Navy Warrior Challenge contract for EOD during initial enlistment, then pass the EOD Physical Screening Test and diver medical screening; complete required assessments and receive recommendation and screening from an EOD officer or senior enlisted EOD technician; additional in service accession requirements may include minimum time on board, performance standards, and command endorsement.
