Key expertise includes Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Six Sigma, Process Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, AS9002:1994, ASQR-01, and aerospace quality systems.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Act as the primary quality assurance resource to the manufacturing team for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting, and continuous improvement.

Design and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing, and inspection.

Promote and execute quality standards, inspection processes, test methodology, quality plans, documents, and reports.

Assist in process certification by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data, and making recommendations.

Develop, execute, and analyze quality-reporting measures.

Report to management on quality issues and trends.

Participate in internal and external quality audits.

Implement Lean Manufacturing techniques where appropriate to improve the manufacturing process.

Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation.

Understand and implement the requirements of AS9002:1994 and ASQR-01.

Develop innovative solutions to complex problems and ensure that the manufacturing process delivers products of maximum quality in a profitable manner.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.

5+ years of experience in a Quality Engineer role within the manufacturing industry.

Experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Six Sigma, Process Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Engineering, AS9002:1994, ASQR-01, and aerospace quality.

Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
