Summary:
The Surgical First Assistant is responsible for providing advanced care directly assisting surgeons throughout surgical procedures. Responsibilities can include preoperative patient assessment, intraoperative assistance, and postoperative care management. The position requires exceptional surgical skills, critical thinking abilities, excellent communication, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and professional ethics in the operating room environment.
Essential Work Functions:
- Assist the surgeon during operative procedures by providing exposure, hemostasis, and other technical functions that help the surgeon perform a safe operation with optimal results for the patient
- Position, prep, and drape patients for surgery according to established protocols to ensure sterility and safety
- Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and surgical team by providing the appropriate surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment
- Perform wound closure, dressing application, and other technical tasks as directed by the surgeon
- Maintain sterile techniques and promptly address any breaches to ensure patient safety
- Monitor patient's condition intraoperatively, report changes to the surgeon, and respond appropriately to emergent situations
- Observe and document patient information as needed within scope of practice
- Actively participate in Universal Protocol and timeout to confirm patient identity, procedure, surgical site and adhere to all safety protocols
- Ensure the availability and functionality of surgical machines, instruments, and implants, addressing any issues promptly
- Collaborate with the surgical team, including anesthesiologists, circulating nurses, and scrub techs, to ensure efficient workflow and patient safety
- Stay informed on advancements in surgical techniques, robotics, and perioperative care through continuing education

Underwriting Program Manager – Stop Loss (Fully Remote or Hybrid – Hartford, CT Area)
A growing insurance organization based in Hartford, CT is looking to add an experienced Underwriting Program Manager to oversee a dedicated block of Specific and Aggregate Stop Loss business. This is a key leadership role with ownership over pricing strategy and underwriting results, offering the opportunity to make a real impact within a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
The position can be fully remote, with a hybrid option (2 days onsite) for candidates located within 50 miles of Hartford.
Compensation: $130,000–$160,000 base salary
Responsibilities:
Evaluate case information and risk factors to develop competitive and sound pricing recommendations for both new and in-force Specific and Aggregate Stop Loss accounts, in alignment with underwriting guidelines.
Review large claim data in advance of clinical review to identify potential high-risk drivers and determine appropriate next steps.

The Payroll & HR Operations Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely execution of muti-state US and Canadian payroll processing and provides operational support to Human Resource functions. Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly and off-cycle payroll for US and Canadian employees in accordance with established payroll schedules and company policies
- Maintain payroll records, timekeeping data, and employee pay information in payroll and HR information systems
- Administer wage garnishments, tax levies, child support orders, and voluntary deductions in compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local regulations

About the Role
You will be responsible to secure, maintain, and troubleshoot our computer networks so that our networks operate efficiently and meet business requirements.

- Analyze, isolate and resolve network problems with minimal downtime.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and adherence to company standards.
- Monitor and manage food and beverage quality, preparation, and presentation to maintain brand standards.
- Collaborate with the bar team to curate and maintain an innovative, high-performing beverage program.
- Implement and maintain health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal laws.
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop high-performing team members, including FOH and BOH staff.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations, and coaching sessions to drive team engagement and growth.
- Develop and manage budgets, P&L statements, and financial goals for the restaurant.
- Analyze sales trends and labor costs to optimize profitability.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to control costs and minimize waste.
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional guest service, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
- Address guest feedback and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
- Partner with the marketing team to execute local promotions and drive traffic.
- Represent Ugly Dumpling at community events to build relationships and enhance the brand's visibility.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions
- 3+ years of experience as a General Manager or equivalent role in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment.
- Proven track record of managing P&L statements, budgets, and achieving financial targets.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with full-service bar operations, including menu development and compliance, is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including FOH, BOH, and beverage programs.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with POS systems, scheduling tools, and financial reporting software.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and food handling regulations.

- The Driver Position May Be Required to Repeatedly Lift up to 50 Pounds, & Move & Maneuver up to 100 Pounds, As Well As Mount & Dismount the Truck Multiple Times Every Route
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Other duties may be assigned.
- Routes may require Drivers to navigate through congested communities and confined or tight areas in city locations.
- Highly skilled backing maneuvers are essential to successfully perform this job.
- Our drivers routinely climb in and out of the truck cab to service customer accounts.
- Driver pre and post inspections required. Drivers are responsible for ensuring their truck follows IWSs safety standards as well as OSHA and DOT regulations, and local traffic laws, prior to and while operating the vehicle
- 21 Years of Age & Legally Eligible to Work in the United States
- Valid Class A or B CDL
- Airbrake Endorsement
- 1-year CDL driving experience in the last 7 years.
- Great Safety Record and Clean MVR
- Experience as a Driver or Helper for a Refuge Company is Highly Preferred
- Working Knowledge of DOT, OSHA & Applicable Traffic Regulations
- Ability to Speak & Read English to Converse with the General Public, understand Highway Traffic & Signals, Respond to Official Questions & Make Legible Entries on Reports & Records
- Read & Understand a Map
- Meet Physical & Safety Requirements of the Position.
- Willing & Able to Work Required Worked Hours as Allowed Under DOT Regulation & May Include Weekend, Night &/Or Holiday Work.
