Performs clinical MRI and MR Angiography testing, including general studies, breast studies, and the computer interactions related with these studies.   

Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology and one year of radiologic experience.  Work Experience: 0-2 years of modality specific experience required. Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) and licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association. Must be able to produce very high-quality special imaging with little supervision.  Must be able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment.  Must be familiar with age specific criteria.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.  Proactively maintains and renews ARRT, state license, BLS, PPD, respirator fit test, and POC training.

  • Coaches staff in providing an optimal patient experience utilizing hourly rounding, AIDET, ACT, use of white boards, clinical care, etc.

  • Assists in the daily adjustments to staffing required to have appropriate nurse/patient ratios. Ensures compliance with matrix.
  • Assists in responding to Quantros SRM investigations, follow-up and re-training.
  • Provides first line customer service response and service recovery.
  • May assists with assigning and/or completing duties listed on charge nurse report sheet, including crash cart checks, narcotic counts and discrepancy resolution, etc.
  • Assists Department leaders in orientation of new employees. Works closely with Nursing Residency / Student Coordinator to ensure students and new graduates have positive orientation. 
  • Assumes on-call responsibilities as assigned by director.
  • Reviews HCAHPS data and collaborates with director and patient advocate on performance improvement.
  • Maintains nursing guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures.

The Operating Room Nurse Manager is responsible for managing the daily activities of the Operating Room and Endoscopy departments. Collaborates with the Peri-anesthesia Manager and Surgical Services Director for any needs for improvement of schedule flow, patient experience and CTM engagement. Ensures all CTMs have up to date competencies. Ensures maintenance of regulatory compliance, and that all CTMs have the supplies and equipment they need to carry out their assigned tasks. The manager needs to maintain a cohesive work environment for physicians and care team members across the different disciplines.

Minimum Qualifications:Nurse Manager I:

Associate’s degree in nursing is required. Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. For any staff with ADN, BSN completion within 2 years of hire is strongly encouraged. Must have a current license in the state of South Carolina as a registered nurse. Three (3) years’ experience in a clinical specialty required. One year of supervisory/ leadership experience and certification in a clinical specialty preferred. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required. ACLS certification is required within 6 months of hire.

Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required. Must have a current license in the state of South Carolina as a registered nurse. Three (3) years’ experience in a clinical specialty required. Position Overview:

As a General Surgery PA, you will work closely with a team of skilled surgeons to assist in a wide variety of surgical procedures, manage inpatient and outpatient follow-up care, and participate in consults and patient education. This role provides the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to pre- and post-operative care while enhancing surgical efficiency and outcomes.

  • Schedule: Monday?Thursday, 8 AM?5 PM; Friday, 8 AM?12 PM
  • Workload: 36 patient contact hours, four admin hours per week
  • Setting: Primarily outpatient with some OR time; some inpatient follow-up and ED call coverage during clinic hours
  • No weekend call
  • EMR: Cerner

Scope of Work:

  • Assist in general, laparoscopic, and robotic surgeries (Da Vinci Surgical System)
  • Manage a broad demographic of surgical patients, including hernia repairs, appendectomies, cancer resections, weight-loss surgeries, and vascular procedures
  • Provide patient consultations, education, and post-operative care
  • Collaborate closely with a dedicated RN team and surgical staff in 14 advanced ORs
  • Annual surgical case volume exceeds 11,000

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Certified and licensed in South Carolina (or eligibility)
  • 2+ Years of Surgical experience
