Job Purpose

The Electrical Controls Design role provides high quality, reasonably priced, on-time hardware, software, and safety design solutions to ensure stable new model and new technology introduction in all HDMA North American manufacturing facilities.

 

Key Accountabilities
  • Work in an engineering team atmosphere understand design requirements to create/modify automated production equipment.
  • Conduct electrical controls design for automated equipment to generate hardware drawings to be used to assemble/build/wire a full controls system for production equipment.
  • Conduct electrical design to produce engineering software to create the control architecture for production equipment processes. (i.e. PLC, HMI, Motion Control, and Robotic programming). 
  • Provide on-site support to install, system up, and mature the control system for production equipment.
  • Create and maintain a critical path schedule for work assignments to produce the control system design deliverables to achieve the overall project milestones for small to medium projects/ low to medium complexity.
  • Conduct and attend design reviews to ensure design standards are achieved and design meets specification requirements for work assignment deliverables.
  • Continuously apply engineering mindset to learn new skills/processes/technology to expands one knowledge base in relevant manufacturing technologies.
     
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
  • 4-year Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or 2-year Electrical related degree with additional work experience.
  • 0-2 years experience, Co-op experience preferred
  • Knowledge of machine safety regulations.  Knowledge of NEC/NFPA 79 standards.  Servo position control experience.  Robotic integration experience.  Field I/O networking experience.  Project management capabilities.  Basic background in automated equipment electrical hardware/software design.  Knowledge of PLC and HMI hardware and software functions.
Working Conditions
  • 75% Office environment - Design.  
  • 25% Manufacturing floor – Installation / System up / Maturation. 
  • Must be willing to conduct physical confirmations in the manufacturing environment and conduct testing/debug on the manufacturing floor and/or at vendor sites. Sometimes on weekends.
  • Travel up to 20% (North American Manufacturing Plants) Potential for International Travel.
  • Average work week is 45~48 hours (some weekends and 1 week shutdowns twice per year).

Job Purpose
  • The incumbent will focus on integrating AI models and applications into high-performance computing (HPC) desktop environments to support prototyping and simulation activities.
  • Design, develop, and integrate software applications that enhance engineering workflows, enable advanced data analysis, and support system integration across product development teams.

  • AI Integration: Lead teams responsible for the integration of artificial intelligence models and applications into high-performance computing (HPC) desktop

Job Purpose: 

“Total quality mindset” and effective “corporate social responsibility” are two key corporate goals of AHM. This job contributes to these goals by enabling the Tax Department to accurately report and pay its tax liabilities to various tax authorities and also to accurately report taxes for the benefit of internal and external stakeholders. This position enables AHM to meet its legal and regulatory requirements to be a “company that society wants to exist.” The job contributes to the overall state and local tax compliance requirements and is an important contributor towards departmental business plan themes. This position involves leading tax technical projects, particularly in the area of property tax, related to Honda new business, new ventures, and organizational changes. This job is also the primary coordinator with outside advisors to ensure that all indirect tax returns, payments, reports, licenses, and various other items are completed or made by all internal and external due dates.

 

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide leadership and support to ongoing property tax projects and business plan themes, especially those that involve new Honda business, new ventures, new ways of working, and expansion/changes of organization and business model.
  • Research property tax issues; support tax technology updates for all indirect tax and accounting systems; support property tax audits. Experienced with PTMS and RIA Checkpoint and a proficient user.
  • Supervise and review the preparation of all personal property tax returns, real property assessments, abatements, and compliance matters, and all associated tax payments and refunds by assigned deadlines.
  • Oversee establishment of forecasts for tax expense accounts and researching variances with budget versus actual data.

 

 

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

  • BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (required)
  • CMI Designation, CPA, Masters in Accounting, Masters in Taxation (preferred)
  • Continual technical education in statutory and regulatory environment
  • 10 years in property tax role with a major multinational corporation, Big 4 firm, or equivalent
  • 5 years of experience with PTMS, SAP, and/or equivalent tax compliance and management software

Job Purpose

The Power Platform & SharePoint Senior Developer will lead the design and implementation, as well as support of applications using Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint technologies. Job Purpose

Lead North American region process standardization as the business expert by creating and directing the process development strategy and diffusion across all North American manufacturing plants ensuring robust, repeatable, and controlled methods are in place to maximize business value and support plant characteristics enhancement.

Key Accountabilities

Develop basic component and system layouts for ATV/SxS prototype vehicles using computer-aided design software that achieve concept targets, function requirements, and manufacturing requisites with minimal supervision. Communicate specification requirements and manufacturing control points via prototype and production drawings that result in setting the final specifications of global ATV & SxS new models and mass production vehicles. Maintain accurate technical, development, and administrative documentation as required.

Adhere to given cost targets for responsible parts that contribute to achievement of the vehicle development targets and achieve the cost targets through optimizing basic part/system designs and offsetting any spec changes after target fix through implementation of additional cost reduction ideas.

Create and manage schedule of individual work to ensure deadlines are met, coordinate resource needs with supervisor, and effectively utilize contractor resources with minimal supervision. Consistently communicate project status and participate in project meetings, discussions, and development events.

Generate basic ideas that contribute to the evolution of new technologies. Support maturation of ideas to prepare for development applications with minimal supervision.

Support market quality themes under the direction of others. Utilize problem-solving methods to analyse root causes. Develop and implement C/M specs as necessary with minimal supervision.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Minimum Educational Qualifications

 Bachelors Degree or equivalent in related engineering discipline

 

Minimum Experience  Engineering experience desired, preferably in Powersports or Automotive field

Job Purpose
