American Traveler is hiring a travel X-Ray Technologist with at least 18 months of experience for a Radiology position at a large 900-bed hospital in Morristown, NJ.
Details
- Hospital-based radiology department within a large 900-bed acute care facility
- OR imaging experience is required, as this role involves performing X-ray procedures in the operating room
- Uses GE imaging equipment and Epic for charting
- 3x13-hour shifts per week, totaling 37.5 hours per week
- Day shift with on-call every other weekend from 2:00 PM–10:00 PM
- Travelers may be required to float to a nearby sister hospital
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 months of experience as an X-Ray Technologist
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program
- Active NJ State RT license required if applicable
- Current ARRT certification and BLS
- Experience with GE imaging equipment
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- Must be able to work independently in a high-volume environment
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

The salary scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary $128,700 - $150,000.

About the Role:
As a Pump Technician, youll be responsible for pumping and disposing of non-hazardous waste from residential and commercial septic systems. Youll drive a company service truck to customer locations, operate vacuum equipment, and ensure every job is handled safely, efficiently, and with excellent customer service.
What Youll Do:
- Safely operate a service truck and vacuum equipment to pump septic tanks
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections (fluids, tires, supplies)
- Provide professional customer service and educate customers on system care
- Identify and report defective components or hazards and recommend service options
- Complete and submit required paperwork accurately and promptly
- Respond to trouble/emergency calls as needed
- Follow all company safety protocols and DOT regulations
- Work independently while representing Wind River Environmental in the field
Requirements:
What Were Looking For:
- Class A or B CDL with Tanker Endorsement (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to drive manual transmission (no restrictions)
- At least 1 year of professional commercial driving experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy (email, internet)
- Must pass a DOT drug screen, physical exam, and road test
- Willingness to work in a drug-free environment

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $26.00 - $28.00 Hourly at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
