- Clinical proficiency in spinals, epidurals, and regional blocks (adductor canal, TAP, iPACK, interscalene, popliteal, occasional PECS)
- Comfortable providing independent anesthesia care across a range of cases (adult, pediatric, OB, endoscopy, ophthalmology, urology, orthopedics, podiatry)
- Strong documentation skills in Epic EMR and ability to collaborate with perioperative teams
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality anesthesia care for a broad case mix including general anesthesia, bread-and-butter cases, endoscopy, podiatry, pediatric ENT (patients from 6 months), OB (~100 deliveries/year), ophthalmology, urology, and orthopedics
- Perform regional anesthesia blocks independently (adductor canal, TAP, iPACK, interscalene, lower extremity/popliteal, occasional PECS)
- Manage spinals and epidurals—perform procedures without overnight stay following epidural placement when indicated
- Participate in the call rotation (every other night and weekend) as part of the CRNA team
- Document all perioperative and anesthesia care accurately in Epic EMR
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing, and perioperative staff to ensure safe patient outcomes
