The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Life Actuary to join the Life Company’s Asset Liability Management Team. This role coordinates, prepares, and performs actuarial analyses required to develop new products, project future results, reprice existing products, and/or determine financial strength.
This role is remote eligible in the continental U.S. with occasional business travel. However, individuals residing within a 60-mile radius of a USAA office will be expected to work on-site four days per week. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
What you'll do:
Performs complex work assignments utilizing actuarial modeling software driven models for pricing, valuation, and/or risk management.
Reviews laws and regulations to ensure all processes are compliant; and provides recommendations for improvements and monitors industry communications regarding potential changes to existing laws and regulations.
Runs models, generates reports, and presents recommendations and detailed analysis of all model runs to Actuarial Leadership.
May make recommendations for model adjustments and improvements, when appropriate.
Shares knowledge with team members and serves as a resource to team on escalated issues and navigates obstacles to deliver work product.
Leads or participates as a key resource on moderately complex projects through concept, planning, execution, and implementation phases with minimal guidance, involving cross functional actuarial areas.
Develops exhibits and reports that help explain proposals/findings and provides information in an understandable and usable format for stakeholders.
Identifies and provides recommended solutions to business problems independently, often presenting recommendation to leadership.
Maintains proper price level, price structure, data availability and other requirements to achieve profitability and competitive goals.
Identifies critical assumptions to monitor and suggest timely remedies to correct or prevent unfavorable trends.
Tests impact of assumptions by identifying sources of gain and loss, the appropriate premiums, interest margins, reserves, and cash values for profitability and viability of new and existing products.
Advises management on issues and serves as a primary resource for their individual team members on escalated issues.

Position Summary
The COTA Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant provides direct rehab care in occupational therapy to patients upon physician referral under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements
- NBCOT certified upon hire, but renewal is optional going forward
- Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (ASOT)

The Lead works under the direct supervision of clinic Medical Director, Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and Office Manager to supervise and directs LVN/LPN and medical assistant staff, provide leadership, direction and consultation. The Lead will assess, plan, implement and evaluate the provision of patient care by all assigned personnel. - Create and maintain NICU reports. Schedule NICU tours for patients. Oversees all Lab functions.
- Participate in the development of employee in-service training classes, ensuring a well-educated nursing staff.

Qualifications
Education:
- LPN or LVN state license required.
- Must maintain CPR certification.
Experience:
- 2-4 year experience in a management or supervisory role in OBGYN preferred.
- OBGYN Experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
- Direct efforts for reconciliation, compilation, and payout of customer earned rebates.
- Direct efforts for contractual invoicing of rebates to Manufacturers
- Review and approve rebate payments in Vistex, ensuring accuracy in payout
- Review GPO contracts and provide feedback/redlines in iCertis relative to invoicing/baselines/rebate payout.
- Manage contract assignments among analysts to ensure proper alignment and a balanced workload for the purpose of meeting internal KPIs.
- Monitor, update, and maintain accuracy of metrics for the purpose of reporting KPI's to the Sales team and Senior leadership.

Education and Work Experience
Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year Bachelor's Degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education; Degree in Accounting, Information Technology and/or Finance; CPA preferred. Normally requires a minimum of six (6) years progressively responsible related experience.
