JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active IL Medical License
- Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiac Electrophysiology
- DEA: Active DEA
- Certifications: ACLS, CSR License
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in Electrophysiology
- IMLC Candidates: Not accepted
- Other Qualifications: Proficiency in EP procedures and hospital EMR systems (Epic)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide 24-hour call coverage for cardiac electrophysiology cases
- Consult remotely for hospitalist and ICU services as needed
- Respond to urgent calls or procedural needs within 30 minutes
- Ensure continuous access to EP care during coverage periods
- Collaborate with cardiac surgery and structural heart teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR

Neurosurgery Physician Qualifications
- Active Illinois medical license (required for Illinois healthcare jobs)
- MD or DO degree
- Board certification or board eligibility in Neurological Surgery
- Minimum 1 year of neurosurgical experience preferred
- Ability to respond within 30 minutes for call coverage
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Neurosurgery Responsibilities
- Provide neurosurgical coverage for trauma and general neurosurgery cases (including bread-and-butter neurosurgery and trauma cases)
- Participate in 24-hour call rotation and inpatient rounding
- Collaborate with trauma, critical care, and hospitalist teams in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a Level 1 Trauma Center
- Work closely with onsite nurse practitioners and medical staff
