Opensity Solutions is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support one of our premier legal clients in a remote capacity. This role provides comprehensive administrative and litigation support to attorneys throughout the full lifecycle of a case, from initiation through trial preparation and post-trial activities.

Responsibilities include conducting legal research, preparing court documents, managing case files, scheduling meetings, compiling discovery materials, handling client communications, and ensuring compliance with court procedures. This role is critical to the smooth operation and progression of litigation matters.

The position requires 5 to 10 years of litigation experience, with specific expertise supporting California courts. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage sensitive and confidential legal information with professionalism and discretion.

Position Details

• Full-time position, with possible overtime during busy periods

• Remote Schedule: Friday – Monday | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM PT | 10-hour shifts per day

• Pay Rate: $34.00 – $38.00 per hour, depending on region

• Candidates must be located in the United States but cannot reside in California, Alaska, or Nevada

Key Responsibilities

Document & Case Management

• Organize and maintain case files (electronic and physical) using NetDocuments or other document management systems

• Index, redact, and prepare documents, pleadings, and exhibits for court under the direct supervision of the managing attorney

Legal Research & Court Records Management

• Conduct legal research using databases such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support litigation strategy

• Retrieve case information from California court websites, federal and state dockets, and PACER

• Monitor court records and dockets to track case progress and filing deadlines

Drafting & Filing Court Documents

• Prepare legal documents including motions, discovery requests, subpoenas, pleadings, and correspondence under attorney supervision

• File documents in state and federal courts, including California courts, using electronic and physical filing methods

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal court rules and deadlines

Client & Attorney Support

• Respond to client inquiries, provide case updates, and coordinate scheduling of meetings

• Coordinate with opposing counsel, court clerks, and third-party vendors

• Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys to ensure seamless case progression

Discovery Process & Trial Preparation

• Assist in gathering, reviewing, and organizing discovery materials including requests for production, interrogatories, and depositions

• Manage document production and maintain privilege logs

• Prepare trial notebooks, witness lists, and courtroom exhibits

• Coordinate trial logistics and ensure all required materials are prepared

Calendar & Docket Management

• Maintain litigation calendars, track deadlines, and schedule hearings, depositions, and attorney meetings

• Send reminders and provide case status updates to attorneys

Billing, Data Entry & Administrative Support

• Track time entries and expenses for billing purposes

• Assist with invoice preparation and data entry using Chrome River, Intapp (Time Tracking Software), and other billing platforms

• Support administrative tasks related to case management, document retrieval, and compliance tracking

Skills and Qualifications

Required

• Experience: 5 to 10 years working in litigation or as a legal assistant

• Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures, legal terminology, and California court rules

• Court Filing Experience: Familiarity with state and federal court filing procedures, including California electronic filing systems

• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, NetDocuments, LexisNexis, Westlaw, PACER, and state court websites

• Billing & Data Entry: Experience using Chrome River (invoicing), Intapp (time tracking), and PACER (court records access)

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Attention to Detail: High accuracy in document preparation, data entry, and file organization

• Confidentiality & Professionalism: Ability to handle sensitive legal information with discretion

Preferred

• Paralegal certification or equivalent legal training

• Experience with e-discovery tools and litigation database management

• Knowledge of litigation in areas such as labor & employment, commercial litigation, or intellectual property

• Complete assigned product training at an advanced level, developing a comprehensive understanding of the disease state, assigned product features and benefits, core selling messages, and the clinical profile of a first-in-class therapy.
• Develop expertise in delivering core selling messaging in a virtual environment, reinforcing field strategy and tailoring discussions based on HCP interest level and engagement signals.
• Meet or exceed call expectations, quality engagement metrics, and sales attainment goals set forth by the Client.
• Maintain complete and timely CRM documentation of targeted customer interactions, including call attempts, product discussions, expressed level of interest, and literature requests.
• Develop business relationships with field team to maximize coverage of shared targets.
• Ensure high level of coordination, communication, and collaboration with field-based representative counterparts and field-based Regional Sales Manager. Ensuring that efforts are aligned and coordinated to provide a superior customer experience.
• Coordinate regularly with field-based counterparts to ensure seamless execution of customer interactions and scheduling as appropriate.
• Complete tasks and participate in projects as assigned by the field based Regional Sales Manager, as needed.
• Provide actionable insights and feedback to field partners and team leadership regarding account sentiment, adoption signals, and opportunities for increased engagement.
• Comply with all company, PDMA, compliance, and regulatory policies and guidelines.
• Work independently from a remote home office while collaborating cross-functionally in a coordinated territory model.
• Cultivate an assigned virtual territory in alignment with field strategy and be accountable for measurable business results and engagement outcomes.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university OR equivalent experience
• 1+ year of sales experience in an outbound Virtual/Tele-sales or field sales role in a healthcare or pharma field required
• Experience selling in the Cardiovascular space preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, especially Word, Excel and Outlook required with the ability to learn new software as needed.
• Excellent communication & rapport building skills.
• Ability to articulate complex clinical data.
• Ability to learn complex medical topics, industry compliance guidelines, patient assistance programs, pharmacy, and insurance landscapes.
• Aptitude and confidence to converse with physicians, as well as all levels of medical office staff.

2nd Shift Production Manager

Location: Garland, TX

Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 3:00 PM – 2:00 AM

A growing U.S.-based custom commercial foodservice equipment manufacturer is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Manager to lead evening operations at its Garland, TX facility. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing stainless steel fabrication and final assembly in a fast-paced, build-to-order environment. The Production Manager will oversee shop floor operations across sheet metal fabrication, welding, polishing, refrigeration, electrical, and final assembly. This leader will drive safety, quality, on-time delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining strong communication across shifts and departments. This position reports directly to the Director of Manufacturing, who oversees day shift operations. Strong cross-shift alignment and communication will be critical to success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 20–40 production employees
• Oversee stainless steel fabrication and assembly operations
• Ensure production goals are met for volume, quality, cost, and safety
• Manage production schedules and workflow to support on-time delivery

• Candidates with stainless steel factory experience outside of food display equipment will still be strongly considered and viewed as having a competitive advantage.
• Experience exclusively in millwork or wood fabrication environments would be considered less aligned with the needs of this role, though not automatically disqualifying.

Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Data Security and Governance to lead our comprehensive data protection program. This critical role involves establishing and enforcing data security policies to meet stringent regulatory requirements, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and fulfilling complex data security obligations within commercial contracts. You will be responsible for building our data governance framework from the ground up, including implementing a robust data classification program and deploying modern security solutions like Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) and Data Rights Management (DRM)., in addition to managing the DLP program.

Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

• Strategy & Policy Development: Design, implement, and oversee the enterprise-wide data security and governance strategy, policies, and standards.
• Compliance & Regulatory Oversight: Serve as the primary expert on data security requirements for ITAR and other government regulations. Ensure all data handling processes and systems are compliant with contractual and legal obligations.
• Data Classification Program: Develop and manage a corporate data classification policy and program. Work with business units to identify, classify, and protect sensitive and regulated data throughout its lifecycle.
• Technology Implementation: Lead the selection, implementation, and operationalization of a Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) solution to provide visibility and control over our data landscape.
• Data Rights Management (DRM): Implement and manage a DRM solution to control access to and usage of sensitive data, ensuring that only authorized individuals can access and interact with protected information according to defined policies.
• Risk Management: Conduct regular data security risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and oversee remediation efforts to mitigate risks.
• Incident Response: Develop and lead the data-focused components of the incident response plan, including containment, investigation, and reporting of data breaches.
• Collaboration & Training: Partner closely with Legal, IT, Engineering, and business stakeholders to embed data security principles into their operations. Develop and deliver training programs to raise awareness about data governance and security best practices.

Typical Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity and data governance, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing a data classification program across an enterprise.
• Direct experience with the procurement and deployment of DSPM and DRM technologies.
• Skills & Knowledge:
• Deep understanding of data protection principles, including encryption, access control, data loss prevention (DLP), and data discovery.
• Expert knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST 800-171, and ISO 27001.
• Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
