Women who may have the ability to produce eggs but are unable to use their uterus or do not have a uterus, may consider a surrogate. A donated egg may also be used with the surrogate in the event a woman cannot produce her own eggs or her uterus is not intact or insufficient to carry a pregnancy. In either case, the husband's sperm, if viable, may be used.

Using an egg donor unrelated to the surrogate carrier eliminates any biological tie. The egg of the surrogate is never used as part of the assisted reproduction process, so that a surrogate is never in the position of delivering her own biological child.

The basic requirements of a woman to serve as a surrogate are:

• Emotionally stable
• Responsible
• In good physical health
• Non-smoker
• Has had at least one successful pregnancy
• Is capable of carrying a child to full term

A woman is not required to fall within a particular age range to serve as a surrogate, but most intended parents prefer a surrogate under the age of 40. For more information on surrogacy please see the documents on the left side of this page.

In Texas, there is a judicial process for validating the Gestational Contract (the contract between the intended parents and the surrogate). Included within the various requirements for having a Gestational Contract validated by a Texas court is that the intended parents must be married and the surrogate must have previously carried a child to term. Additionally, there are residency requirements that apply to either the surrogate or the intended parents, but not both.

Compensation for a surrogate services generally starts in the range of $35,000 - $40,000, for base compensation with over all fees up to 70k, in many cases. The amount of compensation is dependent upon a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, whether the surrogate carries twins, what procedures a surrogate is required to undergo and whether the delivery is vaginally or by cesarean section.

Required Skills & Experience

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

• 2+ years of experience in document control, records management, or administrative support within an engineering, construction, or technical environment

• Strong understanding of document control principles, version control, and records management best practices

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems

• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced, project‑driven environment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Description

• Establish, implement, and maintain document control processes and procedures for engineering and project documentation

• Receive, log, track, distribute, and archive technical documents, including drawings, specifications, reports, calculations, and correspondence

• Maintain document registers, transmittals, and revision histories to ensure accuracy and traceability

• Ensure documents are reviewed, approved, and released in accordance with project schedules and quality requirements

• Manage electronic document management systems (EDMS) and ensure proper file naming, version control, and access permissions

• Coordinate document submissions and deliverables with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and vendors

• Perform regular audits to verify document completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal and external standards

• Support project closeout by organizing final documentation packages and records retention

• Assist in developing and improving document control standards, templates, and workflows

Dock Technician

We’re looking for an Onsite - Dock Technician for our client. If you have experience in maintaining dock equipment and facility systems, know about hydraulic, pneumatic repair and maintenance then this is a great opportunity to grow your career with a company known for excellence.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on loading dock equipment and facility systems.
• Inspect and maintain dock levelers, dock seals, bumpers, dock locks, and commercial doors.
• Conduct routine shift inspections to identify equipment issues and ensure proper operation.
• Replace worn components such as belts, hoses, filters, and fluids.
• Perform basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building maintenance repairs.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA guidelines, including lockout/tagout practices.
• Record maintenance work and findings in the CMMS system.
• Communicate effectively with team members, subcontractors, and facility staff.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade training preferred.
• 1+ year experience maintaining dock levelers, industrial doors, or similar equipment.
• Experience with hydraulic or pneumatic systems.
• Basic skills in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry work.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and operate lifts or forklifts.
• Basic computer skills for work orders and communication.
• Valid driver’s license required; AAADM certification preferred.
