The Revenue Growth Manager will apply analytics to better understand, predict, and shape the customer path-to-purchase. This will optimize everyday product pricing, as well as promotional frequency and depth at key customers, while driving profitable revenue growth. This role will lead the business unit in achieving the goal of optimizing trade and marginal contribution through the use of elasticity-based modeling tools: the PTA tool for the grocery and mass merchandising channels, and the elasticity tool for the natural channel. This role reports to the Senior Director, Customer Strategy and Planning.


From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Lead the creation of overall market strategy, as well as customer specific everyday price and promotional strategy including the development of Average Margin Per Sale (AMPS) (merchandising and pricing) and net unit cost guidelines, as well as the overall management of Total LUSY and customer specific trade. Builds and shares practices with cross-functional teams including Customer Strategy and Planning, Field Sales, Marketing, Demand Planning, and Commercial Finance.

Lactalis US Yogurt, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring an Associate Manager, Portfolio Strategy & Planning based in Bedford, NH.


The Associate Manager, Portfolio Strategy & Planning will contribute to the strategic development, storytelling, commercialization and execution of retail initiatives across retail channels. This role will be the go-to headquarter partner for the Field Sales team - collaborating throughout the selling process to deliver the strongest, insight-driven narratives while working internally with Brand Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Trade Planning and Finance to ensure optimal execution of priorities. This role will specifically be responsible for the commercialization of Stonyfield Kids & Baby Products, sales strategy and performance analytics. The Associate Manager, Portfolio Strategy & Planning reports to the Senior Manager, Portfolio Strategy & Planning.

Key responsibilities for this position include:


Strategic Thought Leadership

  • Contribute to the development of the Stonyfield Sales Strategy, utilizing point of sale data, shopper insights and trends. Partner with the Field Sales team to tailor strategy across customers - prioritizing innovation based on assortment gaps, regional trends, and internal capabilities.
  • Manage Innovation Plan, working collaboratively with Marketing to ensure the right innovation is developed and shepherded through the commercialization process. Ensure critical sales deadlines are met without sacrificing the quality of the proposition.
  • Utilize category management skills to develop fact-based sales presentations employing brand research to include customer and consumer syndicated data such as AC Nielson, IRI, Spins. Incorporate this information into on-going planning and decision making for focus brand(s).
  • Collaborate with internal functions and customer teams to create innovative brand solutions to accelerate brand growth that address critical plan risks. Represent the voice of sales to the headquarter teams - ensure clear communication to the field sales team of changes in the plans and implications.
  • Provide data-driven insights of brand(s) business trends, marketing strategies, competitive landscape, and regional/channel risks and opportunities; help develop the strategy that ties brand, category and customer plans together.

General Management & Executional Excellence

  • Partner with Demand Planning and Brand Marketing to contribute to the forecasting process for Stonyfield. Coordinate the brand Risks & Opportunities, develop communication and action plan. Partner with the customer strategy team to ensure that accepted item volumes, reset timings, and promotions are all accurately reflected in monthly demand plan.
  • Enable connectivity between field sales team and brand team, ensuring appropriate focus on priorities, adherence to brand guidelines and Topline partnership from concept to launch.
  • Partner with Finance and Brand Marketing to develop project P&Ls; lead development and communication of recommendations based on financial analysis, project rationale and operational feasibility.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (8 years) is required; an MBA is preferred.
  • 5+ years of CPG Sales or Brand Marketing required.
  • Category Strategy, Sales Strategy & Planning and/or Trade Marketing experience a plus.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
  • Proven experience with syndicated data and decision data/tools such as IRI, Nielsen, Spectra, Numerator, Scintilla, HH Panel, SPINs, Symphony, Numerator.

The Strategic Sourcing Manager US Comanufacturing, is an active member of the Purchasing Team North America (NA), participates in sharing purchasing excellence and strategies, supporting teamwork, joint learning and development initiatives. The incumbent will lead the North American sourcing strategy initiatives for an assigned Category. Under the guidance of the Associate Director procurement - US Comanufacturing, will assist in the execution of a supply strategy for managing Lactalis' US Comanufacturing network and will provide local support to Yogurt Business units across USA and Canada . This position will be expected to provide a high level of service and support for internal stakeholders by developing a deep understanding of affiliate business needs, providing detailed analysis of spend data and financial results, playing a key role in supplier relationship and performance management, and by providing necessary support for new product innovation and supply chain sustainability. This position will also be responsible for ensuring connectivity between Lactalis Yogurt business units' functions (Supply Chain, R&D, Quality, Finance, PMO, Marketing, etc.) and the broader Lactalis North America Purchasing organization. The focus of this position will be primarily in support for yogurt -related co manufacturing activities in the United States.

  • Develops local /regional sourcing strategies for the Category managed, using detailed analysis of historical & current spend data, combined with sourcing and research of new suppliers.
  • Achieve budget objectives by identifying, developing and supporting North American sourcing strategy initiatives for the assigned Category or the North American Sourcing.
  • Leads the implementation, and management of the strategy for Category, making sure the needs and specifications of each Business Unit are considered.
  • Take ownership of the bid process, through in-depth knowledge and analysis of key cost drivers, qualify vendors, tender, negotiate, implement, and manage all contracts related to the category.
  • Support global negotiation initiatives led by Lactalis senior global procurement team by providing information such as pricing specifications, vendor listings and negotiating at local and global level. As well as providing information as a subject matter export on the Category being managed.
  • Lead cross-functional teams with internal stakeholders in the design and implementation of sourcing strategies
  • Identify and execute negotiation cost savings initiatives.
  • Participate as a subject matter expert in working with cross-functional teams, providing insight to key functional areas of the business for effective project execution such as process optimization. The scope includes pricing, as well as process improvements ideas provided by the vendors, and insights into the portfolio.
  • Develop supplier relationships to optimize supplier quality and performance, including continuous improvement, innovation, and reduction in total cost of ownership to add value to North America region. Responsible for supplier quality and supplier contract compliance with respect to the category managed.
  • Perform administrative duties such as tracking cost savings initiatives, providing monthly status reports vs. objective targets reviewing and validating pricing and communicating the pricing to master data for upload.
  • Responsible for providing insights on the market for LE & monthly risk & opportunities forecast reports to the divisions
  • Participate as an active member of the Strategic Sourcing team, sharing purchasing strategies, supporting teamwork, joint learning and development initiative.
