The Opportunity

The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for assisting with the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations. The incumbent is responsible for using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions. - Maintains pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level: anticipating needed medications and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; removing outdated drugs.
- Maintains knowledge of asset protection techniques, creates claims for order errors and damaged goods.
- Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Performs duties assigned by the Pharmacist such as utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, ensuring information is entered correctly, filling prescriptions by retrieving, counting, pouring pharmaceutical drugs, verifying medicine is correct and checking for possible interactions.
- Reports, immediately, prescription error to the Pharmacist and adheres to company policies and procedures in regard to pharmacy errors and quality improvement.
- Follows all applicable government regulations including HIPAA, Medicare and Co-pay requirements.
- Engages patients by offering assistance, resolving issues and answering questions to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Responsible and accountable for registering all related sales on assigned cash register, collects and handles cash as required.
- Directs and assists team members as needed to maintain workflow and meet/ complete deadlines as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist on duty.
- Processes claims for 3rd party reimbursement efficiently and correctly to third-party insurance providers to obtain payment.
- Earns and maintains certification and licensure as required per state regulations. Attends training and completes as requested by the Pharmacy Manager and acquires continuing education credits.
- Maintains knowledge and skill in healthcare and pharmacy.
- Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.
PAY RANGE:
$17.0 - $24.26 HourlyThe posted pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for this position. Final compensation will depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, education, geographic location, and other relevant factors. You will investigate and determines coverage and liability, evaluate, negotiate, and settle highly complex auto claims such as comprehensive (i.e., theft and fire), collision (i.e., minimal policy limits, coverage determinations/issues, attorney representation, non-owned vehicles, mechanical breakdown, property damage lawsuits) property damage liability, and rental vehicle coverages for repairable vehicles and total losses.

- Investigates to determine coverage, liability, and physical damage including total loss settlements for highly complex auto claims.
- Negotiates liability for comparative negligence (claimant or adverse carrier).

Position Summary: The Employee Benefits Sales Professional sells new accounts and renews existing accounts while ensuring annual firm and individual goals are met. Sales Professionals build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, the service team, insurance company partners, and centers of influence while identifying and seeking sales prospects. Essential duties include but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to manage schedules, set appointments with existing and prospective clients, analyze existing exposures and present alternative insurance solutions to fulfill the needs of prospects and clients
- Gather information necessary to underwrite and quote each risk
- Manage the overall service delivery, financial evaluations, plan design, renewal, business placement, benchmarking, and other studies with direct team/client.
- Develops sales strategies for increasing target market sales and manages the execution of these strategies.
- Identifies potential referral sources and develops relationships through personal contact and presentation of the benefits practice’s resources.
- Qualifies prospects based on practice's guidelines for new business.

Desired Education, Skills and Experience:

- College degree desirable
- 3 years’ experience in Benefit Sales; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Possess skills necessary to communicate with clients, carriers and prospects concerning Benefits coverage.
- Ability to maintain a professional manner at all times.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and additional Microsoft Products.
