You will take radiographs (x-rays) of patients which will assist physicians in diagnoses and treatment and perform procedures accurately and in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner. Your tasks and responsibilities as a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray Tech) may include but are not limited to:
- Possess sound and thorough knowledge of all diagnostic radiographic procedures and related equipment including surgical, portable, trauma, general and fluoroscopic radiographic procedures
- Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images assuring only optimal images are submitted for interpretation utilizing appropriate lead markers as well as date and time stickers where indicated.
- Select proper and accurate technical factors and techniques to accommodate patient and assist in administration of contrast media when necessary
- Prepare, transfer and position patients as needed ensuring modesty, safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices
- Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time
- Maintain proactive and effective communication with patient and other caregiver colleagues to include the radiologist
- Check the operation of the equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases and keep room stocked with linens and necessary supplies
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program at an AMA-approved school
- Valid ARRT certification
- Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to perform work which requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 100 lbs.

The successful candidate will combine mechanical, electronic, low-voltage electrical, software and ingenuity to deliver solutions in the geo/structural instrumentation field.
This is an entry level to experienced position.
Technical high school graduates through all levels of college are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications Applicants will be technology minded and have basic knowledge in one or two of the following, combined with an interest and desire to learn other skillsets.
Fabrication of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems Instrumentation systems
- remote measurements Robotics
- commercial construction Basic programming
- industrial maintenance Electrical and/or electronics Experience in geotechnical instrumentation or vibration monitoring is a bonus.
Excellent written and oral communication with strong organizational skills required.
Familiarity with Microsoft Business software products are a must.
Candidates must be able to work with others, work in the field, be a self-starter, and be able create order out of chaos.
This position requires some travel with occasional night and weekend work.
Must be able to drive and have a valid driver’s license.
Additional Information Salary Range: $50,000.00
