The Insurance Coordinator is responsible for all new referral insurance verification and/or authorization in a timely matter.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Responsible for insurance verification and/or authorization on patients.
• Responsible for audit of information from the Intake Referral Form and patient information received from the referral source entered into the computer system correctly. • Background in import logistics, global import operations, and Customs Compliance
• Develops and maintains operational plans to include all business requirements of customers
• Provides pricing for ocean/air/trucking freight with carriers, 3rd party logistics providers
• SOP/Work Instructions maintenance and ensuring operational best practice in line with customer requirements as well as ensuring operational SOP compliance
• Responsible for developing and enforcing SOP to comply with all local, state, and federal regulations related to shipments and transportation
• Builds relationships with carriers, vendors, and internal team members, and helps resolve any freight problems that may arise
• Reviews KPIs for each business and performance regularly for customer satisfaction
• Performs ad-hoc reporting, as required
• Performs other job-related duties as required

Requirements/Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred & 3+ years of work experience in freight forwarding or logistics industry (Ocean/Air Carrier)
• Warehouse (WMS) experience preferred
• Strong Excel spreadsheet and PowerPoint preparation skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects while paying close attention to detail
• Bilingual in English and Korean preferred
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Great interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate openly and effectively
• Works well under pressure and has a sense of urgency
• Strong work ethic
• Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

About This Role

We are seeking a motivated R&D Food Technologist to join our innovative R&D team in Bell Gardens, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and testing new food products, ensuring high-quality standards, and improving existing products. Responsibilities include conducting research, performing laboratory experiments related to food technology and food science, analyzing ingredients, and maintaining compliance with food safety and industry regulations. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to innovate and support the company’s product development goals.

Key Responsibilities

• New product development from research and raw ingredient sourcing to lab prototype development, sampling preparation, costing, trial run, product’s SOP & product’s specification, develop and refine recipe formulation for mass production purposes.
• Evaluate current and alternative food ingredients, create product recipes, and conduct sensory evaluation of new food products to ensure to meet customer needs and requirements.
• Participates on cross-functional teams to ensure effective resolution of technical issues and support product innovation.
• Assist the QA Department in evaluating the HACCP program for new products to ensure the proper function of the Quality Assurance Department including but not limited to Quality, Regulatory, Food Safety, HACCP, SSOP, Labeling, and USDA. Assuring that operations have a consistent understanding of quality programs and actively participate in process improvement designed to achieve quality and company goals.

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Food Science/Food Technology, or related field
• Bilingual is preferred (in English and Chinese)
