The Holy Cross Medical Group (HCMG) and Holy Cross Hospital is seeking a board-certified or board eligible Urologist to join our dynamic and growing team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The selected candidate will join two Urology physicians and two APPs in a hospital-based practice.

The schedule for this opportunity is a five-day work week spending three to four days in clinic and one to two days in the operating room. The practice call for this opportunity is 1:5 shared with community physicians and ER call coverage is, on average, 4 shifts per month.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in General Urology, Female Urology, Reconstruction, and/or Prosthetics and Robotic/Minimally invasive surgery. Teaching and mentorship qualities are highly desired.

Purpose: oversees daily imaging operations, manages staff (technologists, sonographers), handles budgets, ensures quality/safety (like breast imaging protocols), coordinates with radiologists, and implements technology for breast MRI, mammography, and ultrasound services, focusing on patient-centered, efficient care in a specialized environment.

What you will do:

○ Teach up to two sections as needed.

School Registrar

● The school registrar will be responsible for maintaining all student transcripts and

records, as well as data entry. The tasks under this role include, but are not limited

to:

○ Conduct enrollment verification (course audits under state standards).

○ Register all new students and maintain registration records on all current

students.

○ Conduct student registration meetings to develop course requests for master

scheduling.

○ Ensure that all students have completed the expected coursework upon

enrollment and that current students are progressing along the expected

course trajectory.

○ Communicate with new families if their child requires additional coursework

prior to being admitted to Boca Prep.

○ Maintain all student academic records/cumulative folders.

Position Purpose

IR Techs use fluoroscopy (essentially real-time X-ray), specialized wires, stents and other tools to visualize the patient's condition in real time and also change what they see

What you will do:

• Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of the radiographic / digital imaging equipment and table positioning as appropriate for safe patient care.
• Demonstrates ability to acquire images and send images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
• Demonstrates ability to communicate verbally and in written form (e.g. sticky notes) clearly and effectively with other members of the team.
• Transports patients to and from procedural area, admitting and recovery area, and other areas within the hospital as needed.
• Assists with patient transfer to and from procedure table and stretcher.
• Establishes and maintains ongoing communication with the physician operator throughout procedures to facilitate patient safety, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Demonstrates willingness to learn new procedures and coordinates in-service/education for other associates, as needed.
• Administers contrast media under the direction of a physician. Recognizes signs of a contrast reaction and responds appropriately with corrective action.
• Systematically reviews history and physical, lab values, prior imaging, and correlates invasive procedure protocol with patient’s physiological status. Communicates findings to physician operator and fellow team members.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved Diagnostic Radiology program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Able to respond on-site within 30 minutes when participating in the on-call rotation.
• Florida Licensed Radiologic Technologist, Radiography credentialing thru American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R) (ARRT).
