:The nurse informaticist (NI) functions as a knowledgeable practitioner, consultant, educator, and evaluator to maintain and improve system services. As a nurse informaticist, you are responsible for leading the department through the design of clinical processes, solutions, technology workflow and successful adoption that will lead to achieved value, by participating in efforts which meet departmental needs in adherence with the guidelines aligned with the organization strategy. The nurse informaticist will manage ongoing relationships with departments, providing system management and clinical subject matter expertise, focusing on department success in utilizing technology solutions. The nurse informaticist will assist in change management, help identify opportunities for improvement, and is accountable for achieving the project targeted outcomes. As the nurse informaticist, you will provide informatics guidance and act as a liaison between the clinical departments and IT, leveraging both clinical and informatics knowledge to provide innovative solutions.
