This is a part time night shift position that will float between all 4 main hospital locations in Lee's Summit, Overland Park, North Kansas City, and Plaza areas. Schedules are written 8 - 10 weeks in advance.
Responsibilities:

The RN - CV assists the Interventional Cardiologist and CV Specialist in providing care for patients undergoing diagnostic cardiac catheterization, interventional cardiac catheterization, pacemaker and automatic internal cardiac defibrillator implants, peripheral vascular interventions, structural heart disease interventions, special procedures, and other procedures involving the cardiac and vascular systems. Incumbents in this position assist physicians by implementing and performing a cardiac catheterization plan of care using standards of A.O.R.N. aseptic technique, cardiac and peripheral anatomy and physiology, radiographic imaging technique, standards of nursing care, and principles of cardiovascular technology. Position requires multi-campus work and multi-campus call.
Shift: Full Time Days
Position is designated for Saint Luke's Hospital and Saint Luke's North Hospital and requires a 30 minute, or less, callback response. Position is required to work at all four campuses (Saint Luke's East, Saint Luke's Plaza, Saint Luke's North and Saint Luke's South Hospitals) when required to meet staffing needs.
