  • Collaborate with medical assistants, registered nurses, and registration staff, with translation support as needed
  • Document patient encounters using Athenahealth EMR or demonstrate the ability to learn a new EMR system
  • Employ Google Suite tools for communication and documentation as required

Additional Information
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Physician Assistant required
  • Prior experience in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred; translation support provided

We are seeking a Hospitalist Physician for a 120-day assignment with our client in Washington, starting Jun 3, 2026. This role involves comprehensive adult inpatient hospitalist care, including ICU management, non-invasive ventilation, and general inpatient procedures, managing 10-15 patients per shift.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive adult inpatient hospitalist care.
  • Manage patients in the ICU.
  • Perform non-invasive ventilation management.
  • Conduct general inpatient procedures.
  • Manage approximately 10-15 patient encounters per shift.

Job Requirements / Qualifications

  • Board Certification in Neurology (required)

  • Proficient in EEG interpretation and able to perform brain death examinations
  • Preferred experience: EMG, NCV, evoked potentials, and peripheral nerve blocks
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills (new patient = 40 min; follow-up = 20 min)

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient neurology care to adult and/or pediatric patients as assigned
  • Read, interpret, and report EEGs in a timely manner
  • Conduct brain death examinations when required
  • Manage new patient and follow-up appointments efficiently per clinic standards
  • Collaborate with clinic staff, referring providers, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Utilize Epic EMR for accurate documentation, orders, and care coordination
  • Maintain high standards of patient care, professionalism, and compliance with policies
