We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer:

As a Senior Java Engineer, you will work with lead-level and fellow senior-level engineers to architect and implement solutions that enable customers to get the most out of what the client can offer. In this role, you will develop performant and robust Java applications while supplying the continued evaluation and advancement of web technologies in the organization.


At InRhythm, you will:

What you bring to the table:

  • 5+ years of Java development within an enterprise-level domain
  • Java 8 (11 preferred) features like lambda expressions, Stream API, CompletableFuture, etc.
  • Skilled with low-latency, high volume application development
  • Team will need expertise in CI/CD, and shift left testing
  • Nice to have Golang and/or Rust
  • Experienced with asynchronous programming, multithreading, implementing APIs, and Microservices, including Spring Boot
  • Proficiency with SQL
  • Experience with data sourcing, data modeling and data enrichment
  • Experience with Systems Design & CI/CD pipelines
  • Cloud computing, preferably AWS
  • Solid verbal and written communication and consultant/client-facing skills are a must. As a true consultant, you are a self-starter who takes initiative.
  • Solid experience with at least two (preferably more) of the following:
  • Kafka (Core Concepts, Replication & Reliability, Kafka Internals, Infrastructure & Control, Data Retention and Durability)
  • MongoDB
  • Sonar
  • Jenkins
  • Oracle DB, Sybase IQ, DB2
  • Drools or any rules engine experience
  • CMS tools like Adobe AEM
  • Search tools like Algolia, ElasticSearch or Solr
  • Spark


Core Technical Skills (Must Have)

  • Java (5+ years enterprise experience) – Strong expertise in Java 8/11 features (Streams, Lambda, CompletableFuture, Multithreading)
  • Spring Framework / Spring Boot – Microservices, REST APIs, dependency injection
  • Git – Version control and collaborative development workflows
  • Kibana – Log monitoring, observability, troubleshooting production systems
  • Bash – Shell scripting, automation, deployment support

  • Mature server development and knowledge of frameworks, preferably Spring

Job Summary

We are searching for a motivated Temporary Accounting Assistant who is an excellent multitasker with exceptional communication and time management skills. About The School of Cybersecurity and Privacy

The School of Cybersecurity and Privacy, ranked #2 in Cybersecurity, is one of five schools in the #5 ranked College of Computing. Founded in September 2020, it builds on the strong foundation and continued success of the cybersecurity research, education, and service efforts at Georgia Tech that began more than twenty years ago. SCP consists of 25+ faculty working to fulfill a mission of "Building security in everything, for everyone, every day." We believe that societal problems require multidisciplinary solutions, that rigorous research can be inspired everyday problems, that developing tomorrow's leaders requires revolutionizing security education, and that together we can create a more secure future. Job Summary

As the home to the world's leading undergraduate and graduate program in cybersecurity and privacy, The School of Cybersecurity & Privacy (SCP) at Georgia Tech is a growing academic unit that consists of 30+ tenure-track and research (including several holders of endowed chairs) faculty, postdocs, adjunct faculty and professional staff. This distinguished group comes from Computing, Engineering, Social Science and Business Colleges. The School of Cybersecurity & Privacy offers bachelors, masters, and doctoral degrees.

The ideal candidate will be a Full Professor with tenure in a premier department at a research university or have an equivalent position in industry or government in Business, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Humanities, International Affairs, Law, Public Policy, or any other field with a proven record of high impact contributions in cybersecurity or privacy. Candidates should have a proven record of achieving external visibility and funding; have demonstrated strong leadership and team building skills; care about the personal and educational enrichment of faculty, staff, and students; have experience with strategic planning, administrative oversight, fiscal management, and vision development; and embrace participatory management and transparent decision-making.

Job Summary

Under the Criminal Investigations Division of the Georgia Tech Police Department, support investigators with online searches, data retrieval, and online data tracking. Provide online support for investigators when needed and provides on-call data retrieval. Investigate, analyze, obtain, compile, and disseminate records and information to assist law enforcement personnel with all types of criminal investigations. This position will interact on a regular basis with: Institute and unit management, faculty, staff, students, and vendors. This position typically will advise and counsel: Unit management and staff, faculty, staff, students, and vendors. This position will supervise: N/A.



Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Conduct & Log Threat Assessments/Open-Source Checks. Manage and disseminate the collection of criminal intelligence data for entry into an information storage and retrieval systems. Review overnight activity reports and conduct criminal intelligence workups for individuals identified in the reports; disseminate information to the appropriate investigative entity.

Job Duty 2 -
Support Patrol/Investigations Division with Video Footage. Use open-source data and software to document and track potential threatening individuals, situations, and security-related issues to the campus of Georgia Tech.

Job Duty 3 -
Conduct investigations for assigned cases and provide assistance for non-assigned cases. Coordinate the exchange of interstate and intrastate information pertaining to criminal activity and criminal movement; prepare analytical reports of intelligence information; research patterns, structures, trends, and movements of criminal groups or individuals; develop recommendations for subsequent investigation; create draw charts and maps to substantiate recommendations.

Job Duty 4 -
Create intelligence briefings and case updates for dissemination department-wide. Research, compile, analyze, and interpret statistical data from department and outside agency reports as well as threat referrals to make appropriate and timely notifications.

Conduct background checks on department new hires.

Job Summary


The Support Engineer, Tier 1, resolves customer-reported technical issues of moderate complexity and supports the continuity of customer operations. This role demonstrates growing technical proficiency, effective customer communication, and increasing ownership of support cases through resolution. The Support Engineer contributes to team knowledge, follows established processes, and continues to build depth in supported products and technologies.

Job Responsibilities


Customer Engagement & Support



  • Serves as a technical point of contact for customers, engaging via calls and written communication to diagnose issues and provide timely support.
  • Responds to customer inquiries within defined SLAs, prioritizing cases based on impact and severity with guidance as needed.
  • Communicates technical information clearly and professionally, adapting explanations to customer technical proficiency.
  • Provides accurate and timely case updates in alignment with incident severity and communication standards.
  • Assists customers with product usage, configuration guidance, and best practices to reduce repeat issues.

Case Ownership & Management



  • Manages assigned support cases through resolution with appropriate guidance and escalation.
  • Maintains accurate, clear, and technically appropriate case documentation in the support CRM system.
  • Produces case summaries outlining troubleshooting steps and resolutions to support knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborates with peers and participates in SWARM models to resolve more complex or escalated issues.
  • Performs log review and configuration analysis to support root cause identification.

Technical Problem Solving & Analysis



  • Uses lab environments and internal tools to reproduce issues, validate findings, and test solutions under guidance.
  • Troubleshoots the majority of assigned cases using documentation, established procedures, and peer support.
  • Identifies patterns in recurring issues and raises observations to senior team members for review.
  • Contributes to internal knowledge base articles and documentation to improve support efficiency.
  • Shares learnings and troubleshooting approaches with the team to build collective knowledge.

Product & Domain Knowledge



  • Demonstrates working knowledge of supported products and underlying technologies.
  • Resolves routine and moderately complex technical issues within assigned product areas.
  • Applies product knowledge to evaluate customer environments and configurations with guidance.
  • Supports customers with standard deployment, configuration, and operational recommendations.
  • Continues to develop technical expertise through hands-on experience, training, and peer collaboration.

Escalation & Incident Support



  • Follows established escalation procedures to ensure timely resolution and appropriate visibility.
  • Partners with senior engineers and SWARM teams on complex cases and higher-impact incidents.
  • Assists in building and maintaining lab environments as needed to support issue diagnosis.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement



  • Participates in team knowledge-sharing sessions and enablement activities.
  • Provides feedback on tools, documentation, and processes to improve support effectiveness.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams as needed to support customer outcomes.
  • Supports ongoing initiatives to improve workflows, consistency, and customer experience.

Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Skills



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1-3 years of technical support or engineering experience in a customer-facing environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple support cases with guidance while maintaining service quality.
  • Strong written and verbal customer communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous learning.
  • Experience with log analysis and troubleshooting fundamentals.
  • Working knowledge of database fundamentals, including basic SQL queries.
