Job Description
We are looking a friendly, responsible, and compassionate Physician Assistant interested in joining our small but rapidly growing practice.
This Physician Assistant will work with our team to support the doctors’ work and actively facilitate patients’ treatment. You will apply medical techniques and principles under the direction of a physician, and you will deal with a diverse set of patients (cancer-related pain, back and neck pain, chronic pain, etc.). Our Physician Assistants are expected to provide specialized care by performing comprehensive assessments, ordering/reviewing diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, pharmacologic management, and patient education. In this role you will also utilize skills to performing minor ultrasound and fluoroscopy office-based injections, assist with device implantation surgeries, and manage intrathecal pain pumps. Educational and professional growth is expected.

About the Role
As an Estimator, you’ll play a key role in securing new work and supporting our operations team with accurate, thoughtful estimates. As the Special Procedure Technologist, you will bring your experience and passion for health care to our Cardiac Cath/IR Lab! As a Cath Lab/IR SPT you will scrub and monitor cases with Interventional Cardiologists and Interventional Radiologists during cases such as left and right heart catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions, loop recorders, Impella, Leadless Pacemakers, Cardiomems procedures vascular line placement, implanted vascular access devices, complex angiography (peripheral angios and UFE's). You will be joining a highly functioning team in a Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology shared 2 procedure labs. IR or Cath Lab experience preferred but New Grad's are encouraged to apply.
Schedule : Two 10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday 6:30am-5:00pm with rotating day off (varies). Call required may be required when new STEMI Program starts. The SPT may have the opportunity to pick up extra hours at sister facilities.

The hospital offers key inpatient and outpatient services, such as emergency care, intensive care, endoscopy, cardiac catheterization, imaging, surgical and women's services. The hospital utilizes cutting-edge technology to improve safety and quality, including robotic surgeries, UV disinfecting lighting, and smart devices for all caregivers.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position performs prescribed specialized radiographic procedures as directed by following department/facility policies, procedures and protocols. The incumbent ensures optimal care/treatment to patient population.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Performs radiographic diagnostic/interventional special procedures by following and verifying referring providers' orders. Uses independent judgment and applies learned methodologies according to established policy and procedures.
2. Educates patients/families regarding procedure and/or treatment to be performed. Demonstrates professional behavior/conduct in all interactions; fosters teamwork, efficient use of resources and quality patient outcomes.
3. Produces high quality images and prepares/presents them with other pertinent patient information for timely interpretation. Prepares and maintains accurate documentation.
4. Demonstrates competence in performing prescribed invasive/interventional procedures if applicable in accordance with established policies. Demonstrates competence in the administration of radiopharmaceuticals and other approved medications.

8. Independently performs prescribed radiographic procedures in accordance with department/facility policies, procedures and protocols to patients. Internal customers: All levels of medical imaging and nursing management and staff, medical staff, and all other members of the interdisciplinary health care team. External Customers: regulatory and health agencies, patients and family members.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Recent graduate or less than 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology (EP) or equivalent experience, working routine diagnostics and basic interventions. Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program. Requires ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (RT) as required by state law. Licensure and/or certification(s) as required by state regulatory agency, if applicable.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required where applicable. Basic knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology. Basic understanding of Cath Lab procedures and protocols.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position performs prescribed specialized radiographic procedures as directed by following department/facility policies, procedures and protocols. The incumbent ensures optimal care/treatment to patient population.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Performs radiographic diagnostic/interventional special procedures by following and verifying referring providers' orders. Uses independent judgment and applies learned methodologies according to established policy and procedures.
2. Educates patients/families regarding procedure and/or treatment to be performed. Demonstrates professional behavior/conduct in all interactions; fosters teamwork, efficient use of resources and quality patient outcomes.
3. Produces high quality images and prepares/presents them with other pertinent patient information for timely interpretation. Prepares and maintains accurate documentation.
4. Demonstrates competence in performing prescribed invasive/interventional procedures if applicable in accordance with established policies. Demonstrates competence in the administration of radiopharmaceuticals and other approved medications.
5. Performs and evaluates equipment quality control measurements. Demonstrates the ability to trouble shoot and notifies appropriate personnel to maintain equipment performance. Maintains a safe environment for patients, personnel, and visitors. Adheres to radiation safety policies.
6. Accountable for the ethical, legal, and professional responsibilities related to radiology practice. This includes maintaining confidentiality of all work information.
7. Assures the efficient operation of workflow of the department. Monitors and maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and material to ensure non-interruption of services.
8. Independently performs prescribed radiographic procedures in accordance with department/facility policies, procedures and protocols to patients. Internal customers: All levels of medical imaging and nursing management and staff, medical staff, and all other members of the interdisciplinary health care team. External Customers: regulatory and health agencies, patients and family members.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Recent graduate or less than 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology (EP) or equivalent experience, working routine diagnostics and basic interventions. Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program. Requires ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (RT) as required by state law. Licensure and/or certification(s) as required by state regulatory agency, if applicable.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required where applicable.
Basic knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology. Basic understanding of Cath Lab procedures and protocols.
Must demonstrate effective communication skills, human relations skills, ability to analyze data and solve problems.

Additional related education and/or experience preferred.

Position Summary
The Internal Human Resources Specialist - Leave of Absence & Accommodations is responsible for managing all aspects of leave administration and accommodation requests for all Vensure internal employees. This includes communicating with employees to gather the required documentation and information to support their leave and/or accommodation requests, providing information about benefit premium responsibilities and interaction with PTO and/or other paid leave programs, following up on status updates, documentation, and return-to-work expectations and paperwork, completing leave workbooks, tracking leave and accommodation requests, and interactive process documentation. The specialist oversees accurate pay and benefits during leave, verifies that leave usage matches medical documentation, and requests updates when it doesn't, and coordinates across teams to manage disability benefits, workers' compensation–related leave issues, ergonomic assessments, and any approved accommodation equipment needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and administer all company leave programs from initial request through return to work, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws as well as company policy.
- Determine eligibility, review and track medical certifications, monitor leave usage, and maintain accurate HRIS records and confidential documentation.
- Communicate with employees and managers throughout the leave process, providing required notices, explaining policies, and guiding expectations and responsibilities.
- Manage interactions between leave programs, paid time off, disability benefits, workers' compensation, and employee benefit premiums.
- Facilitate return‐to‐work processes, including fitness‐for‐duty requirements and coordination with managers to support smooth transitions.
- Collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, HR, and other departments to ensure accurate pay, benefits, and case handling.
- Monitor attendance and leave metrics, prepare reports, and support policy updates to maintain legal compliance.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on leave programs and provide guidance to employees, managers, and HR leadership.
- Investigate leave‐related issues, including potential misuse or fraudulent activity, and provide information to HR for decision‐making.
- Respond promptly to employee, manager, and HR inquiries and maintain accurate, confidential documentation of all leave, accommodation, and correspondence records.
- Coordinate full-cycle accommodation requests and equipment needs with IT and Facilities and participate in the ADA interactive process to support employees in performing essential job functions.
- Evaluate workplace injuries for OSHA recordability, maintain OSHA logs, and ensure required postings and compliance at all locations.
- Evaluate any work comp claims for internal employees and any work-related accidents and injuries to determine whether they are OSHA recordable and/or reportable and ensure appropriate recordkeeping on the company's OSHA logs.
- Maintain OSHA logs in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and ensure the OSHA 300A logs are completed and posted as required at each office location.
- Facilitate ADA requests, including the responsibility to engage in the interactive process with employees and the ability to offer recommendations to help the employee with essential job functions.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of all leave and accommodation requests, ensuring compliance with HIPAA, and other state, federal, and local laws related to privacy and recordkeeping of medical information.
- Make and receive phone calls and document employee correspondence, maintaining accurate records of leave requests and approvals, accommodation requests and determination decisions, interactive process discussion notes, and all other leave of absence and ADA-related documentation. Receive and relay messages to leaders and individual employees as necessary.
- Collect, track, and report key performance data related to assigned areas of responsibility. Review progress regularly and be prepared to discuss results and improvement plans during department meetings

Education & Experience

- Minimum of 2 years of leave administration and accommodation management; 3-5 years preferred.
- Multi-state leave of absence administration experience, preferably with experience in states with complex leave administration laws.
- Experience with workers' compensation claims management is a plus.
- Experience with maintaining and updating OSHA logs with recordable incidents according to federal regulations.
- Experience with Prism software a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft products: Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Teams, etc.
