Summary:
The ICU Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive, critical care to patients in the intensive care unit. Essential Work Functions:
- Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing and responding to subtle changes in patient condition
- Administer complex medications and treatments in accordance with approved critical care nursing techniques
- Operate and manage advanced life support equipment
- Ensure patient safety and comfort in high-acuity ICU environments, addressing physical and emotional needs
- Record significant conditions, reactions, and interventions, notifying the appropriate provider of changes in patient status
- Perform and interpret advanced hemodynamic monitoring, including arterial lines, central venous pressure, and pulmonary artery catheters
- Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record in a timely manner to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide education to patients and families regarding the ICU environment, treatments, and recovery expectations

Join us in making a difference in the early detection of hearing loss in newborns as a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician! As a newborn hearing screen technician, you will provide hearing screens in the hospital after a baby is born. This includes annual certification accredited by the American Academy of Audiology. On a typical day, you will conduct newborn hearing screens, usually in a new mom's hospital room, and help educate parents about the importance of the screen using video and printed tools we provide. You will also be in charge of entering patient data and validation of hearing screens, as needed. Additional responsibilities may include helping to confirm or reschedule outpatient appointments, following up on any equipment issues and training new staff.

The Opportunity
- Seeking Board Eligible/Certified Emergency Medicine physicians.
- Current FL state license is a plus.

Ascension St Vincent's St. Johns County Hospital – St. Johns, Florida
- Primary Stroke Center.
- 60-bed facility with a 15-bed Emergency Department.
- Annual volume of 16,500 with approximately 45 patients per day.
