SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
Chrome Hearts is seeking a skilled Pattern Maker to create first thru production patterns for capsule collections as well as assist in making custom pieces. In this role you will be required to develop accurate samples based on sketches and references. This position requires a strong technical awareness as well as a keen ability to interpret designs in order to create flattering finished pieces that demonstrate understanding of proportion, materials and style. To ensure success as a patternmaker at Chrome Hearts, you should have extensive experience with fit, draping and a good eye for detail.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Drape, draft and accurately execute final sample / garment that reflects the designer's vision.
- Make pattern revisions that adhere to design updates & fit comments discussed in fittings.
- Create made to measure, custom pieces based on client specs and design requirements.
- Provide organized instructions, easy to understand pattern with appropriate notches, seam allowances and measurements so that the sample sewer may complete the garment in an efficient manner.
- Update tech pack with approved information including specs, hardware & trims, yields, sewing instructions and other notes.
- Digitize paper patterns so that the final pattern is reflected in the pattern library.
- Maintain all standards in regard to fit, construction, how to measure, and other procedures given by the dept director.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and follow safety protocols.
- Create a variety of products such as ready to wear men's, women's and kid's apparel, accessories, and misc. items.
QUALIFICATIONS
- College or trade school degree in Fashion Design and/or Patternmaking.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience as a Patternmaker in High-End Contemporary and/or Luxury markets.
- Experience in hard woven and structured garments and/or leather goods preferred.
- Adept at maintaining precision such as accuracy in measuring and cutting.
- Proficient with computer drafting software (Tukatech), Adobe Illustrator, Excel, etc.
- Experience with tailoring or made to measure and custom fitting garments is a plus.
- Extensive knowledge of cut & sew fabrics, sewing construction and various finishes.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
- Must possess foresight and soft skills in adaptability and problem solving.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong organization and follow up skills.
- Must be able to work well with others and have excellent communication skills.

We deliver performance- critical solutions for rotating and reciprocating machinery across several markets, including oil & gas. We are growing and innovative, participating in energy transformation efforts.
This position can be best based in Bakersfield to Los Angeles area due to customer geography. Overnight travel is expected to be up to 25%

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and create profitable sales growth within the assigned territory.
- Collect customer, market, and competitor information during the sales process to improve channel success.
- Identify and analyze target growth segments. Understand their size, key market drivers and competitive requirements.
- Focus on building strong customer relationships within the aftermarket for reciprocating compressors in O&G(Mid-Stream) and Refinery/Chemical Plants.
- Maintain a strong, visible sales pipeline to achieve assigned goals and objectives.
- Lead the sales process from Discovery through Order Placement/Project Kick-off and oversee the Order Execution process to ensure customer commitments are satisfied.
- Build customer relationships with key decision makers to effectively accelerate the purchasing decision process.
- Develop and monitor bottom-up and top-down multi-year sales forecasts, communicating to key finance and management functions.
- Develop and maintain a close working relationship with the customer service, service repair, engineering and production departments.
- Drive Lean/Continuous improvement efforts within the Sales processes.
- Assist Finance with the resolution of any outstanding payment issues.
- Monitor competitor activity and respond accordingly.
- Manage conflict resolution matters as they arise.
- Operate and drive a company-provided 3/4-ton truck to transport equipment, materials, and supplies to and from customer locations.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Demonstrated sales success, building relationships and growing a territory within related industries of manufactured components, oil and gas, or industrial sales. Specific experience working with refineries is preferred.

Pay Range: $90,000 to 105,000 Annually + Monthly commission payments. This position is eligible to earn commissions (significant part of total compensation plan) based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable commissions plan.

Essential Job Duties

- Build the annual Makita U.S.A. trade show calendar and budget.
- Work with our off-site logistics partner to manage and track asset inventory and display tool inventory for use at trade shows. This includes inspection and inventory reconciliation as well as routine maintenance and repairs.
- Collaborate with in-house marketing staff and vendors to build booth assets, including structures and signage.
- Work with the in-house product management team (and occasionally outside vendors) to create demonstrations of key Makita products.
- Create effective lead collection tactics at trade shows.
- Coordinate show orders and shipping for select events.
- Coordinate on-site details for select events, including shipping and receiving, staffing, and set-up.

Responsibilities
- Assist Project Manager(s) in planning project scope, schedule, manpower, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate between design team, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure all parties have the latest documents and information.
- Interpret design drawings, specifications, and codes; provide technical guidance and clarification to field teams.
- Prepare, track, and process Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and change orders.
- Support budget tracking, cost control, and change order management processes.
- Maintain up-to-date project documentation, including RFI logs, submittal logs, and equipment procurement schedules.

The Information Technology Mainframe Operator starts and stops system tasks, monitors the system consoles for unusual conditions, and works with the system programming and production control staff to ensure the health and normal operation of the systems.
The Information Technology Mainframe Operator is also responsible for starting and stopping the major subsystems, such as transaction processing systems, database systems, and the operating system itself.
These "restart operations" include performing an orderly shutdown and startup of the system and its workloads when it is required.
