The Aviation Department which operates the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, and the North Perry Airport is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Industrial Electrician. The Airport's Maintenance Division operates on a 24/7 schedule with three eight-hour shifts, unless otherwise determined by operational needs. The purpose of this class within the organization is to perform a variety of advanced journey level industrial electrician working maintaining County facilities and industrial equipment. The Industrial Electrician is responsible for the installation, trouble shooting, repair and maintenance of all electrical equipment and components of such located throughout the Airport Campus. This is an exciting fast paced work environment with shift work over a five-day work schedule with two consecutive days off during the week.
All Aviation Department employees must possess the ability to interact courteously with the public, Airport vendors, contractors and fellow employees to maintain a professional work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that promotes a positive work environment. General Description

- Troubleshoots a variety of electrical equipment/system problems in order to identify the nature and extent of the maintenance/repair problem, identifies the type of repair/preventive measure needed, identify potential safety issues, etc.
- Estimates/determines materials, supplies, equipment, and time needed to complete assigned electrical work and orders/projects in order to facilitate scheduling, identify approximate costs and staffing needs, identify type/amount of materials needed, and/or ensure materials, supplies, and equipment needed are available.
- Performs a variety of routine electrical maintenance/repairs in order to maintain facility/equipment in operating condition, ensure safe work environment, and/or ensure electrical service is not interrupted.
- Performs scheduled preventive maintenance on a variety of electrical equipment/services in order to identify potential problems, minimize need for emergency repairs, and/or maximize the useful life of the equipment.

The Construction Project Management Supervisor with the Seaport Facilities Maintenance Division is responsible for performing advanced professional and administrative work in managing maintenance projects for the Port Everglades Department. Specifically:
- Oversee water/sewer, stormwater design, construction, and other infrastructure to include regulatory compliance.
- Review as-built drawings, architectural, engineering plans, and specifications to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local building codes.
- Monitor and manage maintenance and capital projects
- Manages and supervises contractors and consultants in their performance and adherence to contract specifications; negotiates construction and consultant contracts, amendments, change orders, and work authorizations.
- Review plans and specifications of projects; proposals, engineering calculations, pay applications, permit packet and invoices.

We are looking for a Buying Coordinator who will support the Buying Other Business team by organizing product samples, monitoring sell through, assisting in vendor management, and maintaining documentation essential for efficient product selection, assortment planning, and pricing strategies. The role also supports cross-functional communication and ensures timely coordination of promotional events and trade shows.
What's unique about this job (What you’ll do)
Product Selection & Assortment Planning
- Organize product samples in preparation for SKU selection and line reviews.
- Prepare SKU reports to assist buyers in creating effective and efficient SKU plans.
- Maintain proper documentation related to product quality to support product quality management processes.
Vendor Management
- Capture and organize accurate vendor and item data, ensuring that internal systems are up to date with the latest information.
- Maintain regular communication with vendors to track data and updates.
- Ensure all products and packaging meet negotiated specifications and quality standards through proper documentation management and follow ups.
Trade Expertise & Market Research
- Assist in planning for trade shows by organizing agendas and coordinating with vendors.
- Gather product samples and item information post-trade show to support the buying decision-making process.
Pricing & Margin
- Monitor item data and assist with markdown planning by tracking sell-through targets, merchandise in/out dates, and SKU performance.
- Organize data and reports to aid in pricing and margin management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Support effective communication between the Buying, Logistics, Trade Compliance, and Operations teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation and respond promptly to internal requests for information.
Promotion Planning
- Gather and organize promotional contracts with vendors.
- Assist in the coordination of promotional events in collaboration with the buying and vendor promotions teams.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare detailed sell-through reports to monitor merchandise program inventory, sales, and margin performance.
- Provide analytical support to the buying team by generating reports on inventory, pricing, and promotions.
Bring your passion and expertise (Who you are)
- 1-3 years in retail, buying coordination, or document management role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with data entry systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage competing priorities.
- Knowledge of retail buying processes and vendor relations is a plus.

Our team at StevenDouglas is working with a client in the Miami area looking for a payroll coordinator. In this role you will be part of a high energy, collaborative team and a growing company.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system; information may include employees’ hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information.
- Ensures proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, charitable contributions, and other deductions.
- Issues, or reissues, physical or replacement checks or direct deposits due to payroll errors or final discharge.
- Records and processes federal and state payroll tax deposits.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll software
Requirements:
- Two years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping with at least six months of experience in payroll preferred.
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative, multi-task and manage projects through to completion
