Position: Assistant Shift Operator
Location: Saint Louis, MO
Pay: $23/hour + $2/hour shift differential!
Experience: Manufacturing or production experience required.
Education: High School diploma or GED required.
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
ProRecruiters is seeking an Assistant Shift Operator to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Oversee production floor operations in the absence of the Shift Operator.
- Load and unload reactors safely and efficiently.
- Assist with employee training and daily production scheduling.
- Complete ERP system tasks and maintain production logs.
- Monitor chemical usage and quality control samples.
- Assist with inventory, plant organization, and daily shipping requirements.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
Position Requirements:
- Strong work ethic with excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Leadership experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
- Forklift operation experience, including sit-down forklifts.
- Basic mechanical and routine equipment maintenance skills.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks, including packing, loading/unloading, and other duties as needed.
- Knowledge of chemical warehouse or manufacturing processes preferred.
