What will I be doing?

As the in-store Operations Support colleague, you will support the Store Manager and the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Lead with store operational and EHS task. In this role, you will act as the in-store main point of contact to help maintain a safe working environment and ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers. From supporting POS ticketing and maintaining stock file accuracy to promoting EHS compliance with training, this role is instrumental in support both safety and operational excellence in-store.

Here is how it looks in action:

• Support the Store Management team by proactively mitigating hazards, conducing training programs and driving operational excellence

• Support the customer experience by printing POS tickets and assist with updating price adjustments

• Support with EHS activities in accordance to local guidelines, including training new hiring and training refresher courses

• Raise maintenance repair orders, liaising with contractors, and supporting store management teams required contractor paperwork

• Assist with reporting and resolving technology repairs in a timely manner

• Input updates to systems and maintain stock file accuracy and manage lost property process

• Order PPE, store stationary orders, shop floor hardware goods, and ensure First Aid kits are stocked

• Support with routine self-audits and update the Store Manager/ EHS & Operations In-Store Lead on daily/weekly activities and deadlines

The pay range for this role is: $18.70

Job Title - Engineering, Design, R&D - Testing Technician

Duration: 12month

Location: Burlington, MA

The Testing Technician is responsible for creating formulations on the benchtop, brewing using client Brewers and testing the formulations both pre-brewing as well as the finished beverage for a number of analytical measures and sensory testing.

The role will include:

- Preparing benchtop formulations including measuring and weighing ingredients, blending, and packing into single serve portions.

- Performing analytical and sensory analysis on samples both before and after preparation.

- Labeling, organizing, and putting samples into storage for shelf life testing.

- Maintaining documentation of incoming samples, samples prepared, samples in shelf life, as well as documenting test results

- Performing simple mathematical calculations to scale formulas or determine quantities for batch sizing

- Sample preparation for scientist and business partners to taste, including a clean appearance, and acting with politeness and confidence.

- Record and organize quality data in appropriate computer spreadsheets and report results to management.

- Provide training as required for new permanent and temporary personnel in proper test techniques and methods, as well as data recording requirements.

- Ability to troubleshoot issues with brewers or unexpected sample behavior and perform root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the planning, procurement and scheduling materials using “just-in-time” methodology. Works with other departments on issues revolving around planning, costs, quality and inventory factors. Monitors costs and schedules. Assures goals and deadlines are met while attaining the best quality for best value.
• Ability to understand technical scope of work in TDP.
• Identifies methods for ensuring material cost parameters are maintained and/or improved.
• Reviews and monitors open order action reports.
• Assists in the development of standards and works with suppliers to guarantee quality of product and service are attained.
• Ability to solve technical issues, either individually or with departments support.
• Retrieves procurement information from company’s MRP (Materials Requisition Planning) system.
• Places material orders within 5 days of contract review.
• Orders placed in accordance with strategic plan.
• PPV in excess of 10%
• Bids out work orders to suppliers, negotiates prices, delivery schedules.
• Maintains and updates records and supplier’s files.
• Resolves problems that affect discrepant material, damaged goods, incorrect pricing, supply, quality and delivery schedules. Takes actions in MRB.
• Acts as liaison between supplier and plant personnel to expedite and ensure timely delivery of purchased materials and services according to production schedule and inventory needs.
• Sources, qualifies and makes recommendations for certifying suppliers. Tracks monthly supplier’s performance by monitoring and evaluating their material’s costs.
• Recommends SCARs
• continuously analyze sub-contract results such as PPV, delivery and quality and work to continuously improve.
• utilize the existing templates of monthly assessments to maintain open communications & balance cost with risk mitigation. These assessments should include, but not be limited to the following: site visits, questionnaires, web portal responses, third party reviews, phone calls.
• Schedule mitigation efforts include collaborative planning between multiple stakeholders (Operations, Engineering, Project Management, and Senior Management)
• Excel skills above average.
• Recommends as a sole contributor supply chain risk recommendations to buyer planner 4.
• Responsible for own safety following company and OSHA safety guidelines.

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelors or equivalent combination of technical training and no less than 5 years relevant prior experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical problem solving required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office

The Systems Engineering, Integrated Systems Department is seeking a Systems Engineering Technical Lead for the NASAMS product line. This role requires strong technical expertise and engineering leadership skills to drive the design and development of world-class air and missile defense systems.

The Integrated Systems Department supports Raytheon by providing world-class weapon systems engineering. Domain expertise includes radar systems, effector systems, battle management, command and control, network design, battlespace integration, and interoperability for both domestic and international customers.

You will work alongside motivated engineers who are responsible for conducting systems engineering studies and trades; supporting system requirements definition and analysis; and contributing to algorithm development, integration, test, and evaluation.

What You Will Do

• Provide technical oversight and management for a variety of Systems Engineering efforts
• Concept and requirements development (including decomposition and flowdown) within a mature product-line
• Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development and design
• Algorithm optimization and development
• Multi-disciplinary development efforts across the kill-chain for an Air and Missile Defense System
• Collaboration with customer to bring new capabilities to the warfighter
• Functional analysis of real world and test data; trade studies to bring advanced features to fielded system
• Support and lead Internal and External Program and Design Reviews
• Collaborate with other IPT/CPT leads from the various functions and products
• Support and lead Internal Research and Development for future capability upgrades
• System integration and test support, including live fire test events
• Periods of travel up to 25% of time both domestically and internationally

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
• Experience with Air Defense Systems in systems engineering roles supporting development or production
• Experience with managing budget, scope and/or earned value

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience interfacing with external customers and industry partners
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with a variety of audiences
• Self-motivated, passionate leader
• 5+ years of experience in Air Defense Systems, Systems Engineering production or development
• Existing DoD Security Clearance
