Responsibilities: As a Permanent Set Up
- Heading Operator, your day-to-day duties will include: 1.
Setting up and operating cold heading machines to manufacture high-quality products.
2.
Reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the product requirements.
3.
Performing routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
4.
Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
5.
Troubleshooting any issues with the machinery or the manufacturing process.
6.
Collaborating with the production team to improve manufacturing processes and enhance efficiency.
7.
Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
8.
Documenting and reporting any issues or irregularities observed during the manufacturing process.
Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need: 1.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
2.
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a cold heading machinist or in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
3.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical plans.
4.
Strong knowledge of cold heading operations and machinery.
5.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
6.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work.
7.
Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
8.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
9.
A commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
