The F-15 Integration Team is responsible for development and maturation of integrated mission capabilities of the F-15. The center consists of 10 operating rooms, 2 minor procedure rooms and 1 cysto suite, making it one of the largest surgery centers in the United States. Surgery specialties include orthopedics, urology, plastics, neuro and general surgery.

Along with the operating room, the surgery center includes its own pre/post area, PACU, 23-hour stay area, SPD and supply chain.

Job Duties- Maintains accountability for the provision of surgical instruments to the surgical team. Coordinates the care of the surgical patient with other team members. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

• Primary Aspects: Anticipates surgeon and operative team members needs regarding care delivery, maintaining sterile technique and comfort. Assist surgeon in a knowledgeable, efficient and courteous manner. Knows procedure and/or utilizes preference cards to assure instrument and equipment needs are available so team can stay patient focused: participates in updating preference cards. Inspects instruments and power equipment prior to use to assure operational order and troubleshoots, reports, and removes faulty instrument and equipment from service. Performs or assists in sterile preps as needed/requested by monitoring aseptic techniques of surgical team members at field, reporting and correcting breaks in sterile technique immediately, and controlling location of contaminated instruments and supplies.

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead the systems engineering effortson new development, production, and/or sustainment programs, ensuring alignment with program goals and objectives.

• Translate customer and operational needs into system performance requirements.

• Guide cross-functional teams to define and maintain system requirements, interfaces, behaviors, and verification criteria for complex systems

• Perform analyses in affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human factors, survivability, vulnerability, security, certification, and product assurance to achieve mission success.

• Run design reviews and technical assessments, giving recommendations to improve system performance and reliability.

• Maintain and improve requirements management, risk/issues/opportunity tracking, tools, and technology readiness assessment processes.

• Lead the program in implementing and/or adopting the latest SE methodologies (e.g. Model Based Systems Engineering) to meet customer expectations

• Mentor, coach and advise engineers across the program in SE tools, techniques, planning and strategy.

The DevSecOps Lead Engineer will architect and implement secure development and execution environments for the rapid prototyping and experimentation we use to answer our customers' toughest questions about future technologies and capabilities. As the Virtual Warfare Center's DevSecOps Team Lead you will lead a team of engineers designing, implementing, and monitoring software development infrastructure across multiple networks and physical locations across the United States. You will build and maintain cross-functional relationships with multiple teams to coordinate the selection, approval, deployment, and maintenance of a consistent set of software tools in all locations. Your work will guarantee our development and deployment infrastructure and processes are reliable, efficient, consistent, and secure. Your team will partner with relevant stakeholders to create processes, design cloud-based solutions, support deploying applications in cloud environments, evaluate solution performance and implement enhancements.
