- 4:30PM Job Description: Position Overview: Reports to the Quality Supervisor.
Offers inspection support for both Receiving and Final inspection, including month end shipments as needed.
Inspects product by means of manual layout, caliper, and micrometer checks, plug and pin gage inspection, etc.
with proficiency and experience within the last 5 years.
Performs tasks with proficiency using Windows based software such as Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word.
Evaluates product compliancy through proficient understanding of blueprints and GD&T demonstrated within the last 5 years.
Technically validates certified paperwork to the specifications per the blueprints.
Please note, certain duties performed by this role require this position to be subject to the guidelines of our Repair Station Certificate and are subject to DOT drug and alcohol testing.
In this function you will: Provide inspection support for both Receiving and Final Inspection.
Inspect product per blueprint requirements in accordance with the current quality procedures.
Evaluate product compliancy through a thorough understanding of industry specifications, blueprint reading and GD&T.
Technically validate certified paperwork to ensure alignment with the blueprint Prepare and completes First Article Inspection Reports per AS9102 requirements.
Conduct Assembly Floor Layer Process Audits as well as 5S audits to ensure a safe and productive working environment focused on producing quality product.
Support as needed to meet our customer demands at month end.
Required (Basic) Qualifications: Must have minimum two (2) years experience working in a manufacturing environment within the last 5 years.
Must have minimum three (3) years experience in a quality department within the last 5 years.
Documented experience evaluating product compliancy through a thorough understanding of industry specifications, blueprint reading and GD&T within the last 5 years.
Documented experience with evaluating and certifying AS9102 First Article Inspections.
Documented experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent from an Accredited Institution.
Must be able to work in the Client States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Ability to read, understand and follow product specifications, drawings, and work orders in English Preferred qualifications: Minimum five (5) years experience in receiving inspection.
Experience writing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
Experience with AS9100 compliance.
Extensive experience with Microsoft applications.
Certified training in blueprint reading and GD&T.
Experience with SAP.
Note: The 3 years of experience within quality can coincide with the 2 years in manufacturing as most quality jobs are done in a manufacturing environment.
Candidates may count their quality experience toward the manufacturing requirement, as many quality roles are based in manufacturing environments.
However, this experience must be from within the last five years.
Experience older than that, particularly if candidates have not worked in manufacturing recently, tends to leave them unprepared for the demands of this role.
