Construction Project Manager, Washington

The Construction Project Manager, Washington is part of the National Strategic Engagement Team (NSET) and oversees all outside contractors and aspects of building efficiency upgrades, solar, and decarbonization construction project from start to finish. The Construction manager is responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, while managing budgets, schedules, resources, and communicating effectively with building owners, clients, contractors, project managers, and other stakeholders. This position is an expert technical advisor and works closely with Program Managers, Engineers and other team members to advance affordable building efficiency upgrades, solar, and decarbonization projects in Western Washington.

The Construction Project Manager reports to the Senior Program Manager, Washington. This position is located in the Puget Sound region of Washington and is remote with on-site work performed as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects and work closely with external contractors, program management, engineering, and other team members in the delivery of electrification projects.
• Develop construction project plans, budgets, and timelines, and coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Act as the primary construction point of contact, documenting activity in project management software to ensure visibility and data accuracy and keeping project teams informed about project progress and addressing their concerns.
• Interpret and explain contracts, manage contract changes, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Estimate and manage project costs, ensure adherence to the budget, and control expenses.
• Maintain project schedules, track progress, and identify potential delays or safety issues.
• Maintain a safe construction site by communicating safety expectations and protocols to building owners and subcontractors.
• Address issues that arise during the project lifecycle and find solutions to ensure success.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, stakeholders, contractors, and team members.
• Conduct scoping walkthroughs, project oversight, inspections, and closeout.
• Ensure that the project meets quality standards and specifications and address issues that arise.
• Manage contractor relationships, including vetting and oversight.
• Guide contractors through efficiency and building electrification projects and measures, including heat pump, solar, and storage technologies.
• Approve invoices post-inspection.
• Work to increase diverse contractor participation through coordination with internal and external teams, including Elevate’s Workforce Development team and equipment manufacturers.
• Collaborate with Elevate’s internal Construction Team to incorporate construction industry best practices to Elevate’s processes and standards and maintain expertise in current energy management and new technologies.
• Assist in program design, support strategic and business planning activities.
• Support high performance building and other programs across the organization as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, environmental studies, environmental science, solar and sustainability, or building science preferred; or at least five (5+) years successfully managing construction projects
• Adaptability and flexibility; Travel on site up to 40%
• Ability to understand technical requirements and convey technical information to contractors, such as eligibility of specific equipment and documentation required to complete installations
• Well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures
• Able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results in support of energy efficiency, electrification projects, and the Elevate mission
• In-depth understanding of energy efficiency, environmental health, and electrification programs
• Extensive experience working with various trades, with knowledge of traditional HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems and familiarity with solar, ASHP and geothermal systems
• Capacity to manage a high volume of work and complex situations
• Strong ability to build relationships and work with both internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred

Compensation

The total compensation for this position includes health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc.), defined contribution benefit (401k with contribution), professional development, generous paid time off policies, and a flexible schedule. This is an exempt individual contributor position with a salary range of $85,000 – $95,000, based on experience.

About the Team

AeroTEC's Program Management Office (PMO) provides comprehensive, full-service program and project management services to the AeroTEC organization. The PMO Division is responsible for taking direction and inputs from our customers, developing work plans (schedules, budgets, resource and task management, and customer communication) and driving the AeroTEC Team to meet customer goals and deliverables (on-time and on-budget).

About the Role

The Head of PMO will lead a team of Program Managers & Program Analysts and is responsible for understanding the overall project critical path, and how small changes to project timelines will impact work-stream interdependencies. This role requires the significant exercise of independent discretion and judgment in matters of significance.

In This Role You Will:

1. Be accountable for the execution of all commercial, government and internal strategic programs.

3. Lead a team of Program professionals to create master schedules that track and report on implementation efforts across Risk Management, Treasury, Audit, Controllership, and Technologies remain to accomplish milestones.

8. Consolidate all project and program level milestones and dependencies to identify integrated risks and opportunities.
9. Lead the team to the identification, analyzes, responses to and monitoring of project risks;

1. Lead the team to maintain a comprehensive, integrated issue, Risk, and Decision documentation, as they relate to project timelines and co-dependencies, and coordinate solutions development. Maintain documentation of changes to scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables, and identify dependency implications.
2. Manage the team to ensure that the review of all necessary work plans and related project management documentation are completed in sufficient detail to provide for adequate management and control, as well as consist with overall master schedule and dependencies.
3. Oversee the development of communications documents detailing implementation progress for Senior Leadership, Boards, and Regulators, including regular reporting.
4. Execute regular PMO Department meetings.
5. Optimize governance such that information flows efficiently through the organization.
6. Ensure executive level information for program health can be quickly understood through analytics and dashboards.
7. Regular travel to AeroTEC facilities and customer locations as often required to support executive business development, project planning, project execution and customer management meetings.

The Skills You Will Bring (Minimum):

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree (Degree in Engineering preferred).
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Professional Project Management Certifications preferred.

Experience

• 15+ years progressively responsible management experience in the aerospace industry with knowledge of aircraft development, certification, and flight test.
• Proven competence with FAA Part 23 and/or Part 25 certification projects.
• Experience in developing and leading Programs Management office.
• Experience leading and managing through all phases of a Program and project management methodologies.
• Must have experience working with commercial domestic and international customers. Government and defense experience is also preferred.

The Pharmacy Manager role includes:

The base salary range for this role is $274,900 to $292,125 based on a full-time schedule. What you'll be working on:

• Managing a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits
• Treating patients in-office or in testing centers as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits

• Completed an accredited NP or PA program with a national certification

  • 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting, OR 1 year in an outpatient primary care setting, coupled with either a 1 year primary care fellowship or 1+ year in an urgent care setting
• State licensed in Washington, obtained by your One Medical start date

One Medical is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The base salary range for this role is $146,100 to $155,250 annually. However, actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate. These factors include, but are not limited to, job related knowledge and skill set, depth of experience, certifications and/or degrees, and specific work location.
