The Role
We are seeking an experienced Lead Superintendent to oversee all on-site construction activities for multifamily residential and mixed-use development projects. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, on budget, and in accordance with quality standards. You will be managing large-scale projects ranging from $50 million to $100 million and collaborating with internal teams, subcontractors, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
General Project Oversight

* Partner with the Project Manager during preconstruction to coordinate jobsite setup, scheduling, and change management
* Lead all on-site activities, ensuring work is performed safely, meets quality expectations, and aligns with project scope and timeline
* Identify root causes of delays, quality issues, or safety hazards and implement solutions to mitigate risk
* Provide direction to subcontractors and hold teams accountable for performance
* Serve as the project's on-site Quality Control Manager

Planning & Scheduling

* Develop site logistics and safety plans including public safety, site security, crane and hoist locations, and truck routing
* Create and maintain labor and staffing projections for field supervision
* Schedule and lead daily/weekly project meetings
* Set and maintain construction schedule milestones, coordinate timelines with contractors and stakeholders
* Manage and monitor RFIs, subcontractor scopes, and scheduling follow-ups

Team & Relationship Management

* Lead and motivate teams to meet key milestones
* Build strong relationships with architects, engineers, municipalities, subcontractors, and local community stakeholders
* Provide feedback and development opportunities to team members
* Facilitate a positive and solutions-focused jobsite culture

Administrative & Technical Tasks

* Coordinate inspections, utility connections, punch walks, and final unit acceptance

Required Qualifications:

The Capital and Development Project Coordinator provides support for the Asset Management and Development groups. This role focuses on reporting, planning, documentation, task tracking, and administration. The ideal candidate works independently and collaboratively, interacting with property-level, regional, and corporate leaders across multiple operators. The position requires strong organization, communication, and Excel skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.



Responsibilities

Capital Planning & Reporting (Primary Focus ~70%):

  • Maintain shared trackers, files, and document repositories for both the Development and Asset Management teams.
  • Coordinate with Asset Management and Development groups to collect required documentation and monthly/quarterly updates.
  • Prepare recurring reporting packages for internal Asset Managers, including monthly and quarterly capex activities.
  • Ensure timely submission of reporting deliverables, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements.
  • Document management for capital planning files, approvals, and audit support.
  • Maintain databases and files (e.g., development projects, financing deals).
  • Assist with preparation for internal and external presentations related to capital planning and asset performance.

Operational Support (~30%):

  • Coordinate meetings and calls, including scheduling, agendas, and distribution of materials.
  • Track follow up and open items from meetings.
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems for Asset Management.
  • Assist Development team as needed with close out items for projects.
  • Maintain database for tracking certificates of insurance for development projects.
  • Maintain contact sheets and organizational information for operators, asset managers, project teams, and property leadership.
  • Support team communications, including large-scale operator correspondence and responses to property inquiries.

Additional Duties:

  • Complete miscellaneous requests as needed across the Asset Management and Development departments.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • One to two years of experience in Commercial Real Estate or Property Management-related position.
  • Intermediate to Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) and other Windows applications.
  • Experience with Yardi is preferred, but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. An assessment will be administered for computer and communications skills.

- Confer routinely with Technical Program Manager and Technical Operations Manager to ensure preventative maintenance program for routine machine maintenance, to ensure the timely repair of disabled machines, to coordinate infection control measures, routine culturing, water testing, logging of results, transportation of equipment and supplies and communicate technical information to the staff.
- Ensure all acute treatments are performed in contracted hospitals according to the established policies and procedures and in compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
- Ensure efficient utilization of supplies and equipment.

A Typical Day...

Joining us as a Multi-Unit Team Leader, you'll provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices. Using your people management experience and passion for helping people, you'll provide leadership to the customer-centric teams in the offices you manage to accelerate their seasonal tax business.
