Roles & Responsibilities

• Strategic Technical Engagement: Serve as the primary technical interface for the client’s PTD organization, aligning Nova’s metrology solutions with the client’s process technology roadmap and high-volume manufacturing requirements.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of vertical technical experts, providing direction, prioritization, and technical guidance to ensure strong execution and customer impact.
• Program Support: Lead Beta and Evaluation programs for early-stage products at client fabs, ensuring successful qualification and adoption.
• Issue Resolution: Manage and resolve technical challenges in collaboration with Nova HQ and client engineering teams, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
• Customer Penetration: Partner with account teams to execute strategic penetration plans, driving Nova’s presence and influence within the client organization.

Skills & Requirements

• Experience: 7–10 years in technical leadership roles within global semiconductor or high-tech companies, preferably with direct engagement at Tier-1 clients and in customer-facing environments.
• Education: Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Electronics, Materials Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• Technical Expertise:
• Strong knowledge of optical metrology tools, including Optical Critical Dimension (OCD), XPS, SIMS, and Thin Film measurement systems.

JOB DUTIES

- Provide diagnostic services in a hospital and/or clinical setting, including clerical duties as required

- Participate in an on-call or standby schedule as required.

REQUIREMENTS

- High School diploma or GED

- Radiologic Technologist Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

- Completed AMA approved program in radiology technology

- Daily use of diagnostic equipment, Imaging and health care computer system

- General knowledge of radiology equipment and exams to perform fluoroscopy, surgery, portable exams and routinely radiographic exams

PREFERENCES

- Basic Life Support prehire (if no, must be completed within 1 month of hire)

- Professional experience as a Radiographer with variety in imaging

• SBE (Spouted Bed Electroplating) systems
• Manual Barrel plating lines

This role supports plating on both Red metals and Aluminum substrates, including but not limited to terminal pins, contacts, and precision connector components.

RESPONSIBILITY

The Plating Manufacturing Engineer provides technical ownership and process expertise for the following plating layers and process sequences including Zincate(aluminum pre-treatment), Copper, Nickel, Tin, Tin-Copper (SnCu), Gold and Silver.

REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE

• Four-year college degree in an appropriate engineering discipline or equivalent required.
• 5-7 years related experience in a manufacturing environment.
