4C is a Medical Intermediate Care inpatient unit, comprised of a team of dedicated and caring nurses who deliver care to a complex adult patient population. During and post an individualized orientation, we support independence in nursing practice. We encourage board certification in Medical-Surgical, Geriatric and/or Progressive Care Nursing.

As a member of our team, you will assist in managing a 4-5 patient assignment, working side-by-side with the interdisciplinary team that includes Patient Care Technicians, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, and an array of other medical professionals.

The ChristianaCare Microbiology Laboratory located on the Newark campus, is currently recruiting for a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technician.

This position is full time, evening shift, in the Newark Microbiology Lab with the hours of 3:00pm -11:30pm.  The position requires work every third weekend and 2-3 holidays per year.  The position also requires a periodic rotation to the Microbiology Lab at Wilmington.

• Accurately performs all test procedures as listed in the procedure manual.

• Performs and records all scheduled instrument preventative maintenance procedures.

Key Responsibilities Detonate and demolish hazardous munitions, pyrotechnics, and outdated explosives; neutralize ordnance including sea mines, torpedoes, depth charges, and improvised explosive devices; remotely disable unsafe ordnance using robotic and diagnostic technology; conduct parachute and helicopter insertion operations; clear waterways of mines in support of ships and submarines; provide explosive ordnance support to law enforcement agencies and organizations such as the United States Secret Service and Department of State.
