Critical Care Specialty Units • Neuro Step‐Down – Transitional care for patients recovering from neurological and neurosurgical conditions.

• Medical-Surgical ICU – High‐acuity care for complex medical and surgical patients requiring continuous intensive monitoring.

• CMICU / CVICU – Care for cardiac and cardiothoracic surgical patients, including post‐operative recovery and advanced cardiac support.

• Cardiac Med Intermediate – Care for patients needing enhanced cardiac monitoring and management.

• Medical Step‐Down – Intermediate‐level care bridging Med-Surg and ICU for patients with elevated acuity needs.

• Surgical Step‐Down – Post‐operative care requiring specialized monitoring and frequent assessments.

• Cardiac Telemetry – Continuous rhythm monitoring for patients with cardiac symptoms, chest pain, or post‐procedural needs.

Qualifications Education Graduate of an accredited nursing program with one of the following: • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) • Nursing Diploma • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Licensure • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or compact state licensure Certification • Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire Experience • New graduates encouraged to apply • Previous hospital experience preferred for some units Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) • Specialty certifications • Prior acute care or specialty unit experience Physical Requirements • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs • Frequent standing and walking throughout shifts • Ability to bend, reach, kneel, squat, and assist patients safely Why Mercy?   • Design Consultants at 3 Day Blinds are earning a nationwide average of $80,000-90,000 annually in commission and bonus. The District Sales Manager can speak more directly to you about the territory's historical earning potential, but the biggest variable in the equation will be you.
