As a Displays Software Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the remote piloting software team. This team is responsible for building the pilot-facing application software that is used to command the aircraft's advanced automation systems - both onboard, and remotely. You will join a team of interdisciplinary and mission-driven engineers with experience across aerospace, robotics, and self-driving vehicles.

Responsibilities

In your role as a Displays Software Engineer, your primary focus will be designing, architecting, and building a variety of real-time user interface applications for controlling our automated aircraft systems. These can range from browser-based applications to real-time embedded UIs on aviation-grade hardware. All of these applications will support our work to build a fully certified system in multiple ways: they will serve as a platform for rapidly prototyping different workflows and designs; they will be directly used in our ongoing experimental test flight programs; and they will ultimately serve as a reference implementation for our certified displays and controls. You will have ownership over the entire lifecycle of these applications and will work with software engineers and designers within the team, as well as systems engineers and pilots to build systems that are safe, user-centered, and certifiable.

Basic Success Criteria

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience

• 3+ years of experience developing user-facing software for high-performance or mission-critical applications

• Fluent with Javascript

Preferred Criteria

• 3+ years of experience with core browser technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)

• 3+ years C or C++ experience

• Expertise developing reusable features using Web Components or JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular, Lit, etc

• Thorough understanding of computer architecture, operating systems and networking

About the Role

We're seeking a Senior Implementations Manager to own the end-to-end deployment of our leave experience software platform for enterprise customers. This is a critical role at the intersection of customer success, product, and engineering—you'll be the quarterback ensuring complex implementations are delivered successfully for some of the world's most innovative and admired employers.

You'll be the primary point of contact for large enterprise customers during implementation, managing multiple stakeholders across employee benefits, HR, IT, and legal teams. What you'll do

Project management/leadership

• Serve as day-to-day contact and project manager for enterprise implementations, coordinating across multiple customer stakeholders and internal teams.

Technical coordination

• Work with engineering on product integrations with HRIS systems, benefits administration systems, and third-party administrators.

Capacity Management and Operations is a new team supporting multiple internal Client organizations. We manage their Capacity Management process, improving it where necessary, and provide operational support for the work pipeline. Our engineers help resolve capacity regression cases which save the Client millions in data center running costs per year. We also enable the most cutting edge work by aligning the demand and supply for critical infrastructure.

Quick learning is the most critical part of this job. Each internal Client org is different, most of them are using custom tools and have different needs. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in cross-functional capacity management or operations, but must be open to navigate a steep learning curve. • Responsible for updates, upgrades and maintenance of the following systems: Rail Operations Control System (ROCS); Predictive Arrival and Departure System (PADS), Positive Train Control (PTC) back-office systems, Traction Power Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) System and Rail Scheduling.

Your work will help bring together mechanical, electrical, navigation, control, and safety requirements to produce complex electrical systems that are key to the success of our efforts to automate aviation. Responsibilities

In your role as an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for refining and implementing our Avionics system architecture and driving its physical implementation. You will drive the system-level design, testing, and integration of avionics hardware, including computing, sensing, actuation, communication, power, and display systems. You will work across engineering teams and will implement an electrical system design that meets system-level and certification requirements. You will be the owner of multiple components (IMUs, air data computers, batteries) and will be responsible for how they are installed in the aircraft, verified, and certified at the aircraft level.

Basic Success Criteria

• Electrical Engineering fundamentals, typically gained through a Bachelor's Degree of Science or Engineering in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or related discipline

• Hands-on experience with electrical system development, integration, or testing

• Ability to work within a team, including strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to troubleshoot, find root cause, and resolve issues in a safety critical environment

Preferred Criteria

• Advanced Degree of Science or Engineering in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or related discipline

• Experience integrating and troubleshooting complex electronic sensors, actuators, computing, and wiring into complex vehicle-level systems.

• Creative problem solver that can bring multiple disciplines together with the ability to assess risk and make design and development decisions without all available data

• Experience designing, drafting, and building aerospace wiring harnesses, including using ECAD tools such as E3, VeSys, IGE+XAO

As a Senior Simulation Software Engineer, you will work to shape all aspects of our simulation software stack, including framework performance, flight dynamics modeling, hardware emulation, and simulation-based test infrastructure.

Responsibilities

In your role as Senior Simulation Software Engineer, you will lead projects to develop a robust, deterministic, and scalable software simulation framework to accelerate testing of safety-critical systems. You'll work closely with stakeholders, including flight software, guidance/navigation/control, and hardware test engineers to expand our simulation system. Your work will improve the simulation's core architecture, including performance, reproducibility, and flexibility. The Simulation and Test Systems team is responsible for building the infrastructure necessary to enable the development, test, and deployment of our autonomous aircraft software. You will work closely with the hardware-in-the-loop test environments, high-fidelity physics simulation stack, and cloud-based Monte-Carlo infrastructure to enable the millions of flight equivalent hours necessary to certify our aviation products.
