Job Description Summary:

The Manager, Operations ensures that warehouse and delivery functions are carried out in an efficient and safe manner and that all warehouse and delivery employees do their assignments to the best of their abilities. In some markets this may be managing all warehouse and delivery operations in one large location, while in other markets this could be managing multiple cross dock locations’ warehouse and delivery operations.

Pay Range: $96,600 to $131,000 plus 20% annual bonus

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

Cross functionally interact with sales, ops, and customers.

  • Assist with the reconciliation of driver over and shorts, inventory, and cash.
  • Provide any requested reports to management.
  • Provide supervision, direction and discipline for union and non-union warehouse and delivery employees according to their specific assignments.

 Continually analyze and review warehouse and delivery work flow to identify possible inefficiencies and provide solutions to enhance the operations.

  • Review and analyze current warehouse and delivery technologies to locate and implement additional efficiencies and cost savings.

Provide supervision, direction and discipline for union and non-union warehouse and delivery employees according to their specific assignments.

Manage the operations of multiple cross dock facilities in a market.

Responsibly handle beverage alcohol product.

Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ of experience in related area and some experience in a supervisory role
  • Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software
  • Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills

Position Description:

The Operations & Engagement Coordinator provides support for a boutique health policy consulting firm, with an emphasis on providing policy, business strategy, and engagement solutions to clients including some of the country’s top health plans, provider organizations, industry coalitions, and innovators. The Operations & Engagement Coordinator will specifically support daily one of the firms’ partner clients, the National Partnership for Healthcare and Hospice Innovation (NPHI), the national organization representing not-for-profit hospice programs across the nation supports. The Operations & Engagement Coordinator directly supports NPHI’s senior leadership team and other leaders as directed. This position is full-time and reports to the NPHI Vice President of Member Engagement & Programs. Once initial training is complete, you will continue to hone your skills with our Sales Director while in a production role. On-the-job training includes continued group training as well as listening to calls and getting direct feedback on how you can improve your process to increase conversions. We pride ourselves on continued coaching to better our Business Advisors and help them climb the promotion tiers within the Business Advisor role. It's one thing to retain information that is trained, we need people who can put it into play and have the discipline to execute on it every time.

  • Provide administrative and technical writing support for the successful maintenance and update of DoD and other government agency operational contract support and vendor threat mitigation issuances and directives.
  • Prepare and finalize correspondence including letters, memoranda, briefings, speeches, presentations, meeting minutes, and reports. Maintain communication mediums including distribution lists, rosters, and SharePoint sites.
  • Schedule internal and external meetings, including reservation of conference space, notification to attendees, parking requests, visitor access control and all arrangements from set-up to completion.
  • Maintain confidential or sensitive information and documents.
  • Performs liaison with staffs of high-level government officials, private industry, special interest, and user groups. Responds to inquiries on policy and other matters on behalf of and consistent with the government lead's views.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in logistics, business analytics and/or other sustainment background is preferred.
  • 10 years relevant experience required.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain risk management principles, tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of logistics and transportation operations.
  • Prior military or DoD civilian/contractor experience (preferred).
  • Understanding of OSD and DoD organizational structure.
  • Demonstrated ability to use MS Office Suite to include Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
  • High energy, enthusiasm, tact, ability to effectively interact with senior executives from Government and industry as well as Pentagon staff members.
  • Ability to create and foster a cooperative work environment.
  • Self-directed, detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities.
  • This position requires an active security clearance at the TOP SECRET level. You must be a US citizen.

Targeted Salary Range - $108,000 - $150,000

What you bring to the team

  • Ability to socially interact with Customers, Employees and Business Partners inside and outside of the store environment.
