Position Description:
Designers perform outside plant overhead fiber design for telecommunications companies. Designers should have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in overhead fiber design and will rely on standards, instructions, and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. The Designer is expected to apply experience and knowledge to provide solutions when guidelines will not meet expected outcomes and be able to recommend new and/or improvements to documentation where needed.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO AS AN OSP DESIGNER AT SIGMA:
- Executes work orders for fielding and/or design of infrastructure while meeting quality, time, and budget constraints
- Performs 2-D Civil and/or Electrical type design in CAD (i.e. AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar program)
- Collects data by visually identifying, inspecting, and recording equipment and structures from the field and maps data collected
- Interprets general designs, data, and notes and applies established design guidelines, processes, and procedures

- 18-bed Operating Room Start Date: April 20, 2026 End Date: July 20, 2026 Shift: Day shifts 4x10 (06:30-17:00); variable shifts may include 8s, 10s, or 12s; on-call required Hours per Week: 40 Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,280
- $2,400 per week Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years recent Operating Room RN experience with perioperative nursing expertise Experience in Level 1 Trauma Centers required Active RN license (Nurse Licensure Compact or Ohio state RN license in hand at submission) Graduate of ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification NIHSS certification EPIC charting experience (EPIC proficiency preferred) Two professional references (at least one from a manager, director, or formal leader) Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only) Ability to complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly after booking Key Responsibilities Provide perioperative nursing care across a broad surgical case mix: General, Robotic, Laparoscopic, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spinal, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Burns, Urology, GYN, and Transplant.
Circulate in the OR with emphasis on Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery cases.
Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the multidisciplinary surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Document and maintain accurate patient records using EPIC electronic health records.
Float to different units within the organization as needed to support patient care.
Participate in on-call rotation: Mon-Fri 21:00-06:30; Sat-Sun split shifts 06:30-19:00 and 19:00-06:30; holiday and weekend coverage as required.
Provide care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations as part of perioperative practice.
