Director of Preconstruction - Mission Critical
Location: San Antonio, TX
Salary: Approximately $250,000 base salary + performance bonus + benefits
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Director of Preconstruction to lead the planning, estimating, and strategic development of large-scale industrial and mission-critical construction projects.
Based in San Antonio, this role will oversee the full preconstruction lifecycle including cost planning, design coordination, constructability reviews, and procurement strategies for complex facilities such as data centers, advanced manufacturing plants, logistics hubs, and other mission-critical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Preconstruction Leadership
- Lead the preconstruction process for large-scale industrial and mission-critical developments.
- Direct project estimating, cost modeling, and feasibility analysis.
- Establish project budgets, schedules, and procurement strategies during early development stages.
- Ensure seamless transition from preconstruction to operations and construction teams.
Estimating & Cost Strategy

Job Summary and QualificationsAs a Surgical Technologist you are responsible for assisting with the delivery of quality surgical care. You will be responsible for coordinating with the circulating perioperative nurse during surgical procedures. You are responsible for all major surgical specialty areas; including gathering and preparing sterile supplies, equipment, preparing/maintaining the sterile field. You will assist the surgeon by supplying sterile instruments/supplies to the sterile field in a safe and efficient manner. You will follow current AORN and regulatory standards and established policies and procedures of the System.
What you will do In This Role:
- You will plan for and obtain the equipment and supplies needed for assigned procedures according to physicians' preference and specific patient needs.
- You will prepare equipment and supplies according to manufacturer's recommendations and specifications for uses during surgical procedures.
- You will open sterile packs, instruments and supplies for each procedure according to established aseptic techniques and protocols.
- You will monitor sterile field during procedure and takes appropriate measures to insure integrity.
- You must initiate corrective action for any break in technique.
- You will prepare medications and solutions for use during procedures under the direction of the Registered Nurse, according to physician’s orders.
- You will maintain accountability for instruments, sponges and sharps, according to hospital policy throughout the surgical procedure to ensure that no foreign objects are retained in the surgical wound.

3. Ensures the integrity and safety of the specimen prior to pathology procedures. Collects and labels specimens for diagnostic lab per hospital policy and procedure.
4. Assists with providing care for the patient both pre-, intra, and post specialized procedure. Will aid with transporting and positioning patient on the operating bed, specific to operative procedure, type of anesthetics to be used, and use of protective devices as indicated.
5. Supports the mission and vision of the Methodist Healthcare System. Understands and is committed to helping the Methodist Healthcare System and its associated facilities achieve its goals.
6. Must learn and comply with System and facility safety policies and rules; must use appropriate safety equipment and procedures at all times; must immediately report all unsafe conditions to supervisors; must be familiar with all safety features of equipment, tools and materials encompassed by job duties; and must check with supervisors (prior to job performance) if there is a question as to the safe procedure to be used for any function.

Job Description
An established condominium Association in the Alamo Heights area is looking to make an immediate hire for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm with on-call for after-hour emergencies (Rotation).

Scope of Work:
· Oversee the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department and ensure that common area maintenance, repair work, housekeeping, and lawn maintenance are completed to the highest standards and in a timely manner
· Monitors and approve new work orders requests daily. Plans and assigns maintenance tasks, ensuring timely and safe completion of work orders using ClickMaint software.
· Establishes contact with owners in a timely manner to schedule common area repairs/access to unit.
· Inspects common area weekly (walks the property) to spot potential issues early, remediate urgent issues, and address necessary maintenance. Creates work orders to address these necessary maintenance issues.
· Develops and implements a proactive preventive maintenance plan.
· Meets with the Manager and Treasurer during Budget preparation to provide input for common area upcoming expenses.
· Monitors and maintains inventory of materials and equipment.
· Monitors, coordinates, and collaborates with the HOA contractors to ensure projects are completed as per the contracted scope of work.
· Collaborate with the Manager to evaluate Maintenance and Housekeeping staff for their yearly performance reviews.
· Coordinates training and required license renewals for maintenance staff.
· On-call for after-hour emergencies: Keeping owners/residents informed of Emergency situations that impact the community by sending out bulk messages.
