Responsibilities
Performs audit assignments for various banking and financial service entities, within established frameworks, and prepares detailed work papers and audit findings, which are submitted to the In-charge Auditor for review.
- Elicits information from all levels of staff in audited areas; shares findings with management for validation
- Perform special audits, projects or handle specific administrative tasks as assigned by Audit Management.
- Perform audit assignments for external auditors as needed
Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all training requirements in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior and attaining a B.S. or B.A. in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field
- Prior employment in a financial related environment or customer oriented business preferred
- Proficient analytical and organizational skills

The Laboratory Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of their respective department. The Laboratory Supervisor works with Team Leads to manage sample throughput to ensure turnaround times are met while maintaining data quality that meets or exceeds industry standards. The Laboratory Supervisor is responsible for promoting a safe working culture and environment throughout the laboratory.
Job Functions
- Coordinates workflow through the department to ensure turnaround times are met
- Works with Senior Analysts and Senior Technicians to manage staff and instrumentation resources to maximize sample throughput and ensures production targets are met
- Uses LIMS to ensure that samples are processed appropriately and updates the samples’ status in LIMS as required
- Applies technical judgment to determine potential problems for samples processed
- Helps implement best practices in the laboratory to maximize operational efficiency and maintain data quality that meets or exceeds industry standards
- Demonstrates good leadership through effective planning, delegating and empowering subordinates appropriately, and leading by example. Manages people and performance daily, acting quickly and decisively when required.
- Ensures staffing levels are appropriate for sample volumes and that staff are properly trained to perform their assigned duties
- Works with the Laboratory Manager to oversee hiring and training competent laboratory personnel
- Assists with the training of new analysts to become productive members of the team
- Ensures the lab’s operating supplies inventory is appropriate for current workloads
- Appropriately follows safety requirements for the work that is done and ensure that your team members are also following these requirements
- Immediately addresses safety problems as they arise in the lab (i.e. hood use, safety glasses, methylene chloride handling) to minimize exposure and maximize safe practices
- Actively promotes a strong culture of safe laboratory practices and the maintenance of a safe working environment
- Keeps supervisory and management teams informed of any potential problems
- Provides information to supervisory and managerial staff as appropriate on instrumentation, production, and staff issues

- Bachelor's Degree in a Chemistry discipline and 4+ years of years’ relevant experience in Analytical Chemistry Laboratories or equivalent education and experience (Required)

Compensation
The expected salary range for this position is $65,000 – $75,000 annually. This range represents the minimum and maximum base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role. Actual compensation within the range will depend on skills, experience, and qualifications.

- Team: Collaborative coverage with 5 orthopedic physicians
- Onsite Resources: Lab, X-Ray, Epic EMR (hospital electronic medical record)
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Board certified in Orthopedic Surgery (Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon)
- Active New York State medical license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Self-query NPDB report (pulled within one month of submission)
- Minimum 1 year of orthopedic surgery experience; prior inpatient/OR experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour inpatient call coverage for adult orthopedic surgery patients
- Perform a broad range of orthopedic procedures in the OR, including joint, ankle, foot, shoulder, hand, wrist, elbow, knee, and bone interventions
- Manage adult inpatient cases exclusively and coordinate perioperative care
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary orthopedic team and hospital staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Utilize onsite lab and imaging resources for diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up
- Document all patient encounters and operative notes accurately using Epic EMR
