We are seeking a full-time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join an integrated behavioral health team within a community health center setting. This role provides long-term outpatient therapy to children, adolescents, and adults, working collaboratively with primary care providers, psychiatry, and care coordination staff to deliver whole-person care.
This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician passionate about serving diverse, underserved urban populations, including BIPOC, immigrant, and LGBTQI+ communities, within a trauma-informed and culturally responsive framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group therapy for children, adolescents, and adults
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, screenings, and psychosocial evaluations
- Treat depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, grief, substance use disorders, and serious mental illness (e.g., bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders)
- Utilize evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT skills, Motivational Interviewing, IPT, Behavioral Activation, Prolonged Exposure, etc.)
- Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, primary care providers, care coordinators, and the broader health team
- Provide psychoeducation and support for patients managing both physical and mental health conditions
- Coordinate referrals to higher levels of care or community resources (IOP/PHP, detox/rehab, housing, case management, support groups, etc.)
- Track patient outcomes and engagement through registry systems and EMR documentation
- Develop and update treatment plans, relapse prevention plans, and discharge summaries
- Participate in regular supervision and interdisciplinary case consultations
- Complete documentation and billing in a timely and compliant manner
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, or related field required
- Active Pennsylvania license as an LCSW or LPC
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in a community health or integrated care setting
- Experience working with diverse and underserved populations
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based mental health treatment practices
- Commitment to culturally competent and LGBTQI+ affirming care

The Division of Hematology and Cellular Therapy of the Allegheny Health Network Cancer Institute seeks a highly skilled and compassionate physician with extensive experience in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of myeloid malignancy, including expertise in allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (alloHSCT). This position offers a leadership role in a growing and dynamic hematology program dedicated to clinical and translational research and exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will be considered for the directorship of the HSCT program.
Position Summary:
The Physician will provide comprehensive medical care to patients with myeloid malignancy, including but not limited to acute myeloid leukemia (AML), chronic myeloid leukemia (CML), myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), and myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN). This includes overseeing all aspects of patient care, from initial diagnosis and treatment planning to follow-up and supportive care. A significant component of the role involves participation in the alloHSCT program, encompassing pre-transplant evaluation, conditioning regimen selection, transplant procedures, post-transplant management, and the management of complications.
Duties:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients with myeloid malignancy, including diagnosis, staging, treatment planning, and ongoing management
- Perform bone marrow aspiration and biopsy
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating current best practices and clinical trial participation
- Participate actively in the alloHSCT program, including patient selection, pre-transplant conditioning, transplant procedure, post-transplant management, and complication management
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including clinical research personnel, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Adhere to all health system and hospital policies and procedures
- Participate in on-call responsibilities as assigned
- Contribute to research activity within the department, potentially including investigator-initiated trials, cooperative group and industry sponsored clinical trials, laboratory investigation and publication of research findings

Position Overview:The purpose of this position is to perform the primary functions of a nurse in assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care in the Emergency Room.
Essential Job Functions:- Plan, prioritize, and provide proficient, age-specific and developmentally/specialty appropriate nursing care by applying advanced specialty clinical nursing knowledge and skills and for ensuring the comfort and safety of patients/families
- Proficiently and consistently complete accurate, concise and legible documentation on medical records
- Observe and record signs, symptoms and behaviors including the physiological status of patients
- Presents proposed revision of interventions and desired outcomes
- Maintain patient's privacy and confidentiality of information and records at all times
- Follow physician's orders in the delivery of nursing care
- Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing in accordance with established policies and procedures, as well as COLA and CLIA regulations
- Adhere to required infection control, isolation procedures and aseptic techniques in the delivery of patient care
- Perform admission, discharge and transfer procedures
- Participate in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care given
- Assemble equipment and supply for various diagnostic or treatment procedures in the specialty service area; performs or assists others with procedures or treatments. Handle care in accordance with legal, hospital/facility, departmental policies and procedures, and established standards of nursing care and practice, as defined by the Board of Nursing of that State
- Perform all Quality Assessment activities assigned and document
- Attend staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Associate's Degree, required; BSN, preferred
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse without sanctions, required
- 2+ years full-time RN experience in ER or other comparable experience, required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association, required; ENPC certification from ENA may be substituted for PALS certification; TNCC preferred
- Position requires fluency in English; written and oral communication
- Pennsylvania Candidates: Act 33 (Child Abuse History Clearance), & Act 73 (FBI Fingerprint Criminal History Clearance) completed within the last 5 years, or must be obtained prior to start date.
