Identifies appropriate live donor candidate upon referral and interacts with appropriate staff.
Demonstrates knowledge and ability to coordinate the care of the transplant recipient in the outpatient setting to achieve optimal physical, social and emotional rehabilitation.
Identifies and responds to recipient/family/legal guardian's educational, psychosocial and economic needs in post-transplant phase.
Reinforces post-operative teaching if applicable.
Collects and reviews data pertinent to recipient's health and organ function.
Communicates lab data and diagnostic results to transplant physician/healthcare provider.
Implements changes in drug/treatment therapy as ordered by physician(s) and/or health care provider.

Communicates with the regulatory bodies and collects the appropriate data necessary for decision-making regarding organ acceptance/rejection for transplant.
Shares necessary information about the donor organ, including ABO compatibility, with the transplant surgeon/physician.
Reviews potential recipient's current medical status to determine eligibility for transplant.
Assesses need for and obtains results of final cytotoxic cross match.
Facilitates admission or transfer of patient to the transplant.
Arranges any preoperative procedures required (i.e., dialysis).
Notifies transplant team of pending surgical procedure.
Acts as a liaison between the donor and recipient transplant teams.
Exhibits ability to remove transplant recipient from list per regulations.
Provides outcome specifics to regulatory bodies for donor family follow-up.

Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

Responsibilities
As an Aviation Electronics Technician (AT), you'll maintain, troubleshoot, repair and test complex electronic systems related to aviation on tactical jets, fixed wing aircraft or rotary winged helicopter systems. In this role, you can expect to work with systems including digital computers, fiber optics, infrared detection, radar, laser electronics, navigation, pressure indication, and electrical power generation and distribution. Additional responsibilities may include:
- Installing modifications to aircraft electronic systems
- Performing micro-miniature module repair on computer circuit cards
- Performing electrical diagnostics
- Reading electrical system diagrams
- Repairing and maintaining power generators and electric motors
- Performing scheduled maintenance and corrosion control
Work Environment
Sailors in this career field will perform duties at sea and ashore around the world. ATs can expect to work indoors and outdoors in land-based aircraft squadrons and aboard aircraft carriers. You may work in a shop environment, clean lab, airplane hangar or office environment.
Training & Advancement
Upon completion of initial training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes(known as Boot Camp), you'll report for specialized training, including:
Class "A" Technical School (19 weeks) in Pensacola, FL, for training in basic aviation theory and technical knowledge, aviation electrical systems, and electrical and electronics theory and skills.
After you complete training, you may be assigned to a naval air station, squadron, aircraft carrier or other aviation facility. Promotion opportunities are regularly available but competitive and based on performance.
Advanced Training
Advanced training as an Aviation Electronics Technician may also be available during later stages of your career. For those with further leadership aspirations and a college degree, Officerroles may be available, providing opportunities to lead and train others.
Post-Service Opportunities
Specialized training received and work experience gained in the course of service can lead to valuable credentialing and occupational opportunities in related fields in the civilian world, such as employment with airlines or aircraft manufacturers.
Education Opportunities
Beyond offering access to professional credentials and certifications, Navy technical and operational training as an Aviation Electronics Technician can translate to credit hours toward a bachelor's or associate degree through the American Council on Education.

Qualifications & Requirements
A high-school diploma or equivalent is required to become an Enlisted Sailor and an Aviation Electronics Technician. You must also be a U.S. citizen eligible for security clearance.
AT applicants should have an interest in aviation, working with aircraft, electrical systems and computer systems. You should be competent working with tools, equipment and machines to perform detailed precision work. Strong arithmetic, writing, speaking and academic study skills are also necessary. Important physical attributes include a high level of manual dexterity and physical fitness.

Part-Time Opportunities
Serving part-time as a Navy Reserve Sailor, your duties will be carried out during your scheduled drilling and training periods. During monthly drilling, Aviation Electronics Technicians in the Navy Reserve typically work at a location close to their homes.
For annual training, you may serve anywhere in the world, including locations in the U.S., at bases overseas, or in areas where humanitarian needs are great.

For those without prior military experience, you will need to meet the initial Recruit Training requirement by attending Boot Camp in Great Lakes, IL. This training course will prepare you for service in the Navy Reserve and count as your first Annual Training.

Scribes assist providers throughout the patient care journey - huddling each morning to plan for the day's visits, joining them in the exam room to observe and document, and touching base after the visit to assist with next steps.
Beyond the typical Scribe role, these important care team members serve as clinical documentation assistants to their paired provider. Internally, we call them CISs (Clinic Informatics Specialists) in recognition of their important role in supporting accurate, specific, and timely clinical documentation. In addition to observing and documenting all patient encounters in real time, our Scribes become experts in our value-based care model and the documentation and care of chronic conditions, including ICD-10 and CPT coding. Scribes use this expertise to help providers identify and help close care gaps. Scribes receive extensive on-the-job training in clinical workflows, value-based medicine, preventative care for chronic conditions, accurate and specific documentation, population health data streams, and team based care.
Because our patients and providers rely on our Scribes, the ideal candidate should commit at least 1-2 years to this role. This is an excellent opportunity for pre-med track individuals looking to gain practical, paid experience in a clinical setting before applying to an MD/DO/PA/NP program, as well as those pursuing careers in Health Informatics, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Medical Coding, and other related fields.
Responsibilities:
- Documenting Patient Encounters ~ 80%
- Joining the provider in the exam room to observe patient visits
- Documenting patient encounters in a structured note, including the history of the present illness, assessment, plan, and physical exam
- Assigning appropriate CPT and ICD-10 codes
- Preparing After Visit Summaries
- Consulting with provider to ensure accurate and specific documentation
- Clinical Documentation Improvement ~ 10%
- Requesting and reviewing medical records
- Leveraging Oak Street's population health tools to support clinical documentation improvement
- Preparing for and supporting Daily Huddles and Clinical Documentation Reviews
- Consulting with provider on clinical documentation opportunities
- Administrative support for your provider and care team ~ 10%
- Placing orders and referrals
- Addressing tasks
- Supporting the care team with additional responsibilities related to clinical documentation

What we're looking for
Knowledge
- Knowledge of medical terminology and common medications, either from a pre-medical degree or prior clinical experience [required]
- Prior clinical experience, including shadowing and/or volunteering [strongly preferred]
- Prior scribe or transcription experience [preferred but not required]
Skills
- Advanced listening and communication skills [required]
- Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new technical workflows [required]
- Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by people in the communities we serve [required where indicated]
Abilities
- Ability to adapt to new workflows and to quickly learn new concepts and skills [required]
- Ability to type 70+ words per minute [strongly preferred]
- Ability and willingness to take direction and be a member of a team providing patient care, including adapting to the provider's working style [required]
- Ability to be a self-starter within your role scope
- Excellent job attendance including ability to work in-person in our clinics (Our providers count on you.) [required]
- Ability to commit to at least 1 year in role (2+ is ideal) [required]

The typical pay range for this role is:
$17.00 - $28.46This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

Saint Luke's is looking to add to the Clinical Informatics team!
Candidate will need to be located near the Kansas City area as in person duties are required. An active MO nursing license is required.
This position is a part time, 24 hours per week position working with the Clinical Informatics team.
This position will likely be 3 days per week, with rare weekend work required.
Typical work hours will be 8am-5pm.
This position requires a bachelors degree, and 3-5 years of experience in Clinical Informatics. Experience with EPIC EMR is highly preferred.
The Clinical Informatics Specialist integrates nursing science, computer science and information science to manage and process clinical data, information and knowledge to facilitate the delivery of health care. The Clinical Informatics Specialist role will be primarily focused on clinical informatics projects and Epic optimizations, following a consistent methodology of workflow analysis and validation while ensuring nursing practice standards, regulations, privacy and policy are considered. This role will serve as a liaison for clinical staff across various patient care departments while working collaboratively with department managers and technical experts.
*Masters Degree in Nursing, or Informatics, Preferred.
*Informatics Nursing Certification from ANCC Preferred.
