Position: Emergency Radiologist – Virtual or Hospital Based
Hours : 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM CST, 1 week on, 2 weeks off
Locations : Remote (USA) or Hospital Based in Evanston, IL (United States)
Endeavor Health is expanding its Emergency Radiology team! We are seeking three highly skilled Emergency Radiologists to join our well-established, collegial, and growing division (from three (3) attendings to six (6). This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic, high-volume setting with a balanced workload and competitive compensation.
We are a subspecialized radiology group that serves the northern suburbs of Chicago at Evanston Hospital, Glenbrook Hospital, Highland Park Hospital, and Skokie Hospital. Academic opportunities are available, but not required for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Contemporaneous interpretation of STAT cases for the NorthShore Hospitals (Evanston, Glenbrook, Highland Park and Skokie)
No procedures required
IT infrastructure: Intelerad PACS, Powerscribe, EPIC
Workload: Continually adjusted to maintain reasonable workload. Shift includes 3-4 hours of overlap with second shift ED Radiologists
Moonlighting: Optional internal moonlighting is available.
External moonlighting is permitted
Requirements:
License : Illinois Medical License or Pending
Education : Fellowship training preferred
Certification: Board eligible or certified in Diagnostic Radiology
Experience : Fellowship training and/or significant experience in Emergency Radiology, Neuroradiology, Body Imaging or Musculoskeletal Imaging.
Benefits:

What You Will Do:
Lead Endeavor Health Critical Care programs , overseeing 65 intensivists, 46 APPs, 17 ICU nocturnists, and trainees.
Partner with hospital and EHMG leadership to build physician/APP care models that are safe, cost-effective, and consistent.
Drive clinical performance, quality, and operational consistency across all ICUs.
Oversee regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, and clinical standards .
Develop scholarly, teaching, and research initiatives aligned with organizational priorities.
Collaborate across ED, hospital medicine, surgery, and anesthesia to ensure seamless patient care and capacity management .
Lead dissemination of best practices , process improvement, and innovation (telemedicine, AI, simulation).
Partner with administrative leaders on budgeting, financial performance, and service line strategy .
What You Will Need:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited medical school; MBA or leadership degree preferred
Licensure & Certification:

Formal Training : Border Patrol Academy in Artesia, New Mexico, for approximately six (6) months of intensive instruction in immigration and nationality laws, law enforcement, and USBP-specific operations, driver training, physical techniques, firearms, and other courses.
Border Patrol work requires the ability to speak and read Spanish, as well as English.
Border Patrol Agents will be provided training to become proficient in the Spanish language at the Academy.
